Fallout: New Vegas

Anyone else looking forward to this game at all?

I know Fallout 3 was awesome so I'm expecting this to top it. Lets just hope it does

unfortunately, no im not looking forward to it, sorry to be a downer, fallout 3 was a good game, but had a lot of problems as well imo, and this game is practically identical with some vegas twists thrown in

Well since I'm still working on Fallout 3, I don' t think it would be too bad to at least give this one a try. If worse comes to worse, I don't play it as much as F-3, but still enjoy it. Also I hope that this game doesn't contradict itself by using a backstory that goes against what I picked up in F-3.

The story to me looks like it's just using the plotline of Fallout 3, the fact that it's now desolate and there are other Vaults out there in the world.

to me the story in fallout 3 was terrible, the side quests were fun, but the main story was a bit of a letdown, you fight mutants the entire time, and the environments are always the same, and I have to through twenty tunnels to get somewhere, the graphics suck, vats is nice but the aiming for pure shooting sucks....end of rant, btw what's different in new vegas?

Bigger 'sandbox' games usually don't have the best stories since it is such a huge game focusing on the many elements around it. And most peoples' complaints about the graphics is the fact that it's a desolate America. It isn't going to be pretty. And of course the environments are always the same, it's nuked out Washington D.C. Although there was a place that is green and lively that reminded me of Elder Scrolls IV.

Fallout New Vegas this time I think will be a little more colorful. In terms of battle system, I don't know. I'll post as soon as I play it this Tuesday. If I play it first since I am gettin Vanquish on the same day....

have you heard much on vanquish yet, im still undecided on that game...as for more about fallout, i dont just mean the environments, but the character models are bad as well, maybe if they made better gameplay as far as fps i would enjoy it, vats just gets old after a while

If Fallout: New Vages proves to be an interesting and fun game unlike Fallout 3 then l'll be getting for sure ...if not then l'll just wait for Rage instead. There's one thing that New vegas and Fallout 3 share in common though history repeats itself ...ha,ha,ha!

i just cant decide whether to get vanquish or not--as for New Vegas, it got good reviews, but from what im hearing most ppl don't like it as much as fallout 3--what do you think?

I shall find out soon enough! I just bought it for my fiance so, I will be running off playing it eventually ^^

^ It's the developer's fault for using Fallout 3's engine again instead of a different one like the Unreal Engine 3.

no the glitches aren't just you, that is one of the things that lowered the score on New Vegas, bugs everywhere, including freezing and falling out of the environment, also i heard the story wasn't all that great, but that just heresay, thanks for the info on vanquish, maybe its a bargain bin game then, im not gonna pay full price for it

^ yeah.....Fallout NV is pretty much a bug mess from what I have heard ...anyways there's a demo of Vanquish on Xbox live I'm kinda surprise that you haven't tried it yet.

I've been playing it with my partner but I actually like it. Hasn't been much of a bug in our game though O.o
