I actually liked the 1st game eventhough I only played it a bit after getting it and continued on after a year or so. Razz

It wasn't terrible, but I didn't find the gameplay as responsive as the sequels, and the story wasn't near as good, I'm just surprised that no one here plays it much considering it is multiplatform and it is actually a really popular series

Everyone is different so it hardly matters if the series is popular or not.

I'm not too sure about that a lot of people think that Ubisoft is really milking the series now.

As do I, I'm really hoping that Revelations is good, and I love Ezio's character, but I'm afraid that the story may start to suffer

Well...Revelations is suppose to the end of Ezio's story from what I have heard plus we don't know what's gonna happen to Desmond.

yeah, it's supposed to be the end to Ezio's story, but if they wanted to focus so much on him, they should have just centered the trilogy around him

What trilogy? Revelations is gonna be the 4th game in the series ....anyways I think that brotherhood was more focused on Ezio than on Desmond compare to how it was in Assassin's Creed 2.

Well, the Ezio Trilogy is 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations, if that's what he is meaning.

I played the first, second and still actually doing Brotherhood lol, we haven't got round to finishing this yet what with everything else going on, but so far to the point we have it it's good Smile So I look forward to the next one too.

If you think that Revelations is gonna be the last time we'll see Ezio you're wrong!! Ezio joins the fight in Soul Calibur 5!

you scared me for a second there lol, no problem with Soul Caliber, but as far as AC the story is supposed to focus around Desmond, not Ezio, even tho he is a great character

Re: Assassins Creed Series

I've been looking into this series, played all of them and to this day I am still somewhat scared for the story.... What started out as something good and simple is now blown into proportions with unnecessary poking into really insane theology or what not.

I love the gameplay of Assasin's Creed and it reminds me a lot of Arkham City/Asylum... but the story is very volatile. I want to say they are quite daring... but something about it scares me. This is one of those games I turn off the story just to play because it is so fun.

well I think the story of the series scares all of us bc it has so many wtf moments, and it seems all over the place, however it does seem to piece together little by little as we go along, and I am just hoping that there is a lightbulb moment in one of the games here in the future that will start to make it all come together, but your right it is a very deep and confusing story with a lot of different undertones to it

I just finished Assasin's Creed Brotherhood and I really enjoyed it :3
Only the end is so confusing ^^'
The story kinda reminds me of Dan Brown's "The Da Vinci Code" and "Angels and Demons" (just a little less good).

Is the last one worth buying ?

I have Revelations, but I haven't opened it yet since I'm playing 13-2 right now. It got solid reviews, but I'll let you know after I play it smiles

Just finished it Smiles, I'm sure you would enjoy it. It isn't super long, but it ties some story parts together, and the gameplay isn't much different from the previous titles, it is definitely a good game, is it fantastic? No probably not, but worth a buy. Not to mention Assassins Creed is a series where you need to follow along or you will get lost quickly in the story.

Allright, I'm sure I'll buy it Smile I'm just gonna wait a little longer, because the price is still a little high for me.

ACIIII is going to set during the American Revolution and looks like the best one yet. Probably the most excited for this one in the series.

It looks like it's gonna have the open feel that the serie's had with the 1st and 2nd games...well mostly with the 1st game anyways.
