FFX HD - Page 2 Empty Re: FFX HD

As far as I know, the only extra content for FFX International was a separate Sphere Grid, and extra bosses. As well as the option to play in multiple languages. The new Sphere Grid, as I understand it, starts everyone out in the middle, so you can choose the development of your characters as you see fit from the get-go. For instance, Yuna can be the tank, and Auron the healer, etc.

Part of what made FFX's characters charming to me is that they all have their specific usefulness in the beginning. Unlike FFVII and FFVIII, the characters indeed felt different and had their own 'job' and 'time' to be summoned into battle. Yuna is the healer and Auron is the heavy hitter. I wouldn't have it any other way because to me it will dilute the game by shifting the said jobs just because.

Suffice to say, the content for FFX does very little to accentuate the need to delve into an 'extra' content that I missed out on way back when.

I'm kind of interested but only for the Dark Aeons. After replaying X a number of times, I don't really care for the story and most of the characters but I like a challenge. X was fun to play, it's got a nice update to the traditional turn based combat of the original games and I like the customization of the Sphere Grid later on when you can turn a character into whatever class you want.

But I can't stand X-2 either so I think I'll be avoiding this port altogether.
