What's Everyone Looking Forward To for 2013?
A pretty simple question. Just wondering where my fellow gamers are gallivanting in this near distant future of this year. We all have different taste in gaming so our variety on what games we are looking forward to will be in abundance most likely. And who knows? Someone's list may influence someone else. Most likely my list will do little to interest anyone though.
For Me:
Injustice(Fighting)
Dragon's Dogma II(Action Rpg)
Deadpool(Action)
Time and Eternity(Jrpg)
FFX/X2 HD(Jrpg)
Disgaea A brighter Darkness(Tactical Jrpg)
Batman: Arkham Origins(Action)
Somewhat Looking forward to is Lightning Returns(Jrpg)

Is it because Rocksteady is no longer doing it? Or the new trailer shows Deadshot and Deathstroke in it? lol
As long as it is anywhere close to Arkham Asylum, I think the game will bode well for my preference. Batman games are the only comic book games that enamors me to the full extent; perhaps Deadpool will shift all of that.

Yes. Also multiplayer, something this game shouldn't have. I feel like it will be like Bioshock 2. Get rid of the original writers and design team, aka the heart of the game, and make this half-assed piece of shit that appeals to COD mainstream gamers (hints to the multiplayer again).

Re: What's Everyone Looking Forward To for 2013?
^Wow. Didn't hear about the multiplayer; that is asinine, then again I'm not surprised. With the common thread of adding in multiplayer, it was sooner than later that the Bat would receive the epidemic. But like most games I delve into that add in such frivolous option(Tomb Raider reboot, Infamous 2, Ninja Gaiden), I simply ignore it. Hopefully it doesn't take too much from the main element.
In regards to the writing, honestly, while I enjoyed the first two's story, I felt that at some point it was getting redundant with the use of Joker; got a bit stale and honestly, Joker "died" at the end of the Arkham City(using that term loosely since it is Comic Books we are speaking of here) so, I guess a breath of fresh air is somewhat necessary.
However the writer, Corey May is the one who wrote the Assassin's Creed series, a couple of Prince of Persia, and the appalling game of Terminator Salvation(hey it had Christian Bale in it!) so it might end up being a debacle.... We'll see. Kevin Conroy still a go.
Again, as long as the gameplay sticks to the elements of the first two but add in a few perks here and there then it would be a hit for me. And in regards to gaming, I keep my positive libido.
----EDIT----
Although Mass Effect did add in Multiplayer; although it wasn't exactly the most astonishing thing added into the game, it did turn out decent; for the miniscule time I put into that function, I enjoyed it. So maybe Origins may have something good going into it; though I'll remain adamant with this notion: Not every game NEEDS multiplayer.

@Cap, Bioshock 2 was actually a very good game, nobody gave it a chance, just because it has some different ppl working on it. I enjoyed the mp for bio 2 and the gameplay was better than the original
