Your video game Avengers

Something just for a few laughs. After seeing the Avengers with my mates I decided to ask if they could make an Avengers team of there own from any characters EXCLUDING DC or MARVEL who would be on it. Got some rather funny non serious results.

So I decided bring it on over here but limit it a bit to video game characters.

Rules are simple

1 Per franchise
7 characters altogether
Have to have originated as a video game character (for example Mickey Mouse has been in a lot of video games but obviously he started as a cartoon)

*BONUS - 1 Villian chosen from the same franchise as one of your 7 heroes (biggest threat)

Besides that you can have any choices you want and either try and balance it well or just be a bit silly.

That said here would be my team (and I'll also include who they would be replacing in the actual movie lineup)

Big Boss (From Metal Gear Solid 4) - Replacing Nick Fury

Reason = Amazing leadership skills, ran his own private military and is a legendary Soldier. Plus the eye patch helps


Kratos (from God Of War) - Replacing Hulk

Reason = One he is a demigod, is near impossible to kill and has an extremely high temper. Plus the fact that he kills gods puts him nearly on the same level as the Hulk.


Lightning (from Final Fantasy XIII.2) - Replacing Thor

Reason = In XIII.2 she is basically a goddess, plus her main magic (guess if you dont know) is the exact same as Thor's main element. Her armour and summon help too as well as her attitude and grace in battle.


Link (from the Legend Of Zelda) - Replacing Hawk Eye

Reason = His archery skills and special arrows (especially Light and Bomb arrows), plus has good experience from fighting beings like Ganon or Demise. Can be quick on his feet and carry loads of supplies if necessary.


Sonic (from Sonic The Hedgehog) - Replacing Captain America

Reason = The fact he can move at the speed of sound and has spikes sharp enough to tear through robots would, I feel make him ideal. Although he lacks Super strength I feel his extra power on speed will balance things out a bit. Also he does have all 3 colours of the american flag (and Union Jack as well (*cough*)) in his design.


X (from Megaman X) - Replacing Ironman

Reason = His mix of ablites and arm cannon might match the skills of Ironman, plus his armour can for the most part take a bit of a beating. Was originally normal Megaman but I remembered that X can take a bit more of a beating the normal.


Lara Croft (Tomb Raider) - Replacing Black Widow

Reason = Highly acrobatic, is a marksman and has taken down goddesses and dinosaurs. Also the fact that she has a catsuit in her manor wardrobe does help. This is Lara mainly after the events of 3 and Legend.

Demise (Legend Of Zelda)

Reason = For those who know anything about the legend of zelda universe would probably know that this guy is the reason for every force of evil in the series, period. Would later be reincarnated as Ganon, Demise is near impossible to kill and has a force of various monsters under his command. Also if desperate he can turn into a vastly annoying "inferior" form which can only be taken out by one blow to a small spot on his head. I also forgot to mention that he sent a goddess running and nearly and was barely delayed from destroying all of hyrule.

David Anderson (from the Mass Effect series) - replacing Nick Fury



Joseph Turok (from Turok) - replacing Hawk Eye



Cole (from the Infamous series) - replacing Thor



Master Chief (from the Halo series) - replacing Captain America



Samus Aran (from the Metroid series) - replacing Iron Man



Alcatraz (from Crysis 2) - replacing the Hulk



Joanna Dark (from Perfect Dark series) - replacing Black Widow

I noticed the whole theme after the 3rd character Erel . Awesome choices (btw, going for what you where going for, I think Jill was a better choice over Sheva)

Also good pick with Anderson Darkness Phoenix, when it comes to leaders in Mass Effect I feel he commands better then Hackett. I myself was almost going to pick Cole, namely for the skill set

great lists everyone. Hard to compete with those.
