5 Star mission Help Thread

okay well as the title says, this is a thread for those wanting to know how to get 5 stars on missions in FFXIII. The ways i will be tellling you, are ways i have done them. Which none will require exotic accessories or deceptisols and only 2 missions will i say to use shrouds.

So please, question away!!

Note: Please try to get 5 stars on your or try to, don't just come here if u got a new mission and never tried it

okay question one...this is the easiest route to get to him(by mission number)

35->37->40->44->51

anyways now for the fun part, killing the beast. Gonna list my party setup, but the party does need fang and snow.

Fang/Vanille/Snow

Paradigms

Syn/Sab/Sen
Rav/Rav/Sen
Sab/Sab/Sen
Com/Rav/Sen
Com/Med/Sen

Note: Fang needs to at least have thunder learned in rav tree, and bravera, faithra, and Haste in syn

Anyways start with the first Paradigm and have fang cast haste and faithra on both herself and vanille, while van tries to debuff him with deprotect, deshell and hopefully slow. If u get fully buffed and all three of those aren't stuck switch to the sab/sab/sen paradigm.

When he gets fully debuffed switch to rav/rav/syn and beat him down till his stagger gauge reaches 250%(rebuff and debuff when nessecary). when that happens buff fang with haste and bravera(no longer worry about vanille) and then switch to com/rav/sen, by now fang should be hitting him quite hard. Make sure you keep deprotect and slow up on him, espically after he uses meditate.

now for equipment(again this is mine, weapons may vary but the accessories are a must)

Venus Gospel-max
power glove- max

sprint shoes- max

Vanille:
Marlboro Wand-max
Weirding Glyph-max
Weirding Glyph-max

Weirding Glyph-max

Snow(equip weakest weapon for increased target time)

just to let you know my target time was 15mins some odd secs, and i managed to beat him in about 9-10mins
