Who do you prefer? (FFVII)

Out of all the characters in VII vote for who you prefer and state why.

For me its the original Cloud from the game. I loved the progression from self concerned ass to a hero, how he starts off just wanting to do the job and then be on his way. Then with his identy crisis and mental breakdown we learn why he is how he is and really and truly he's a man who doubts himself and doesnt see himself as a strong man, which is concluded at the end when he gets rid of Sephiroth.

mine is Zack, obviously from Crisis Core, bc you dont learn enough about him in ff7, basically he is all of the things that Cloud ends up being at the end of ff7, I love cloud, but I could do without all of the self pity crap, which is why I like Zack slightly better, his carefree attitude

There is more Self pity in Advent Children.

Still Zack is awesome (my 3rd favourite after Tifa)

1. Red XIII is my favorite character in the game, story and battle wise. He's so well balanced and can be either a magic user or a physical brute. Plus he's a talking fucking red lion/wolf hybrid.

2. Yuffie. Shocked? I thought so. Yuffie I find far superior to Tifa and Aeris in battle because she's got some gnarly attack and magic points, well balanced limits and I just always liked her character. I always like to date her during that part of the game so I can give a fun "Fuck You" to Aeris then Tifa is fine once and a while but I'm not much a fan of her.

3. Cid. Why? Because he's an asshole like me and possibly the best Cid in the series. When Cid is the leader of the party for that brief time it was the only time in the game I can play with all 3 of my favorite characters.

Everyone else I either tolerate or cannot stand. Also, fuck Kadaj and his faggot crew. They suck hard.

Cid is sweet, I loved his character, and he has some sensitive undertones under his badass ego, I figured you would have Barrett pretty high up there tho

Barret sucks. He's a lame ass Mr. T wannabe whose character just stops developing after Dyne. I mean, he has this rebellious and angry character yet he never questions why schizophrenic Cloud is the leader.

Cid did a good job taking over as the team dick.

I'd like Zack more if CC didn't have an atrocious story. I love the Turks but they're on a whole different level with the others. Rufus is okay, Heidegger and Scarlet annoy the crap out of me, Hojo is one of the greatest villains in the series (But far from my favorites) and Vincent should have been a full party member and not a secret character because he has more to do with the story than half the cast.

Yuffie. For definate, she reminds me of myself. Not to mention I cosplay her a lot in more ways than one. She's just got that attitude where she wont let anyone stand in her way, she'll always stand up for the group and plus side she has a Shuriken!

I voted for the original Cloud. He always will be my favourite charcter of all time because he is just beast lol

i like cloud and zack and nanaki but its unfortunate tht the mako poisoning is actually confuseing cloud makeing zacks memorys his own but on the bright side i want a dog like nanaki XD then it can tell me wht it wants lol

Nanaki. I like animal type characters, specifically ones that look like dogs, although I don't really like Kimarhi, maybe because he isn't on all fours like Nanaki.

Original Cloud would be second. He has way more courage and bravery than AC Cloud.

other than cloud, its hard for me to pick out a second...cait sith and yuffie are at the bottom though lol

Secondary favs have got be Tifa and Red.

Cait Sith I found was actually a good character (remembers how he just came back right in the middle of Cloud giving over the Black Matera). Just a terrible fighter (imo)
