Birth by Sleep

So later this year we are going to be given another filler game in the KH series that will give a complete coverage of Organization XIII's origins. In other words, it's not a lame "Axel's Real Name" shit but you will see Axel's complete self as a child as for nearly every member of the Organization.

The game will center around 4 main characters. Ventus, better known as "Ven" (The incarnation of Sora), Terra (The incarnation of Riku), Aqua (The incarnation of Kairi) and King Mickey Mouse himself. Although Mickey is not playable, the other three characters are. Yes, we finally get some difference in the game other than Sora and Roxas' constipated stance but Terra's hard hitting techniques and Aqua's magical way of fighting. The entire game will finally give the real answers we want, not more Roxas angst but some backing to the entire Organization and finally get to see Xehanort being Xehanort and not "Ansem" and Xemnas. We also get to meet the real Axel, Saix, Xigbar, and almost the entire Organization.

The game will also focus on Ansem the Wise to see what led to his plans for revenge as DiZ and we get to see what Ansem the Wise was like before Xehanort and the rest of his apprentices revenge.

One thing to note on the game is this takes place 10 years before the story of Kingdom Hearts 1 so in every world you go to, all the characters are young as you will visit Olympus Colosseum and Herc is a wimpy kid who is just starting his training with Phil. The game will have only one Final Fantasy character in it as both a boss and a summon and I think all FF7 fans will appreciate who it is...

The release date for the english version has been confirmed right? 'Round August if I'm not wrong.

The release date is 9/7/10. Sept. 7th, I think. English gameplay has also been released, but I'm holding off on watching it. I don't want to otherwise spoil or learn to beat the game before actually playing it.

Just don't hope for a fast-paced system. It's like playing Crisis Core in terms of battle speed. I'm still buying it, I love Kingdom Hearts and am willing to actually beat this one unlike CoM. The PSP has helped me accomplish games I would never normally beat for some reason.

I'm currently awaiting FFIX to arrive on PSN, it was my favorite out of the PS1 Classics.

The story of why Ven looks like Roxas is really stupid. I think the series is going downhill. I will play it and give my answers to it but after what I've seen and unfortunetly read, it's going to be pretty lame and contradicting to the original script of Kingdom Hearts.

The hell is it with Nomura fucking over his own work to add 30+ contradictory plot lines and characters? He did it to FF7, now he's doing it to KH. It's like everything he touches must branch to a million fucking extra "Who Cares" scenarios. In 365/2 Days, fuck Xion. There was nothing about Roxas' impact on the organization, it was all about this unimportant and unneeded character. I mean, when she dies, everyone forgets her. Why put her in the game if she leaves no impact!? What's the point!? Did Nomura have nothing to think of for Roxas? Really? It didn't even focus too much on Axel and Roxas' friendship, it was all about Xion, the bitch who dies and leaves no impact to any character when she does. Birth by Sleep may go this route and I'm not excited. I think the game is going to be like Crisis Core for me. Awesome graphics, fun gameplay, awful story.

He kinda looks like a gladiator, lol. Anyway it sounds like a fun game ^_^ If it isn't too expensive, I'm going for it, I think .(however, when I'm bored to spend too much money T_T)

Just got my copy today, I'm about 5 hours into it and I'm...owning...literally. It takes little effort to get EXP in this game. Only thing you need to worry about is keeping your commands up to date and that takes about 10 minutes per command. I'm still in th process of beating Terra's story, so it may get harder later on, or maybe I shouldn't have picked Beginner.

question.... the secret video at the end of KHII shows a battle field with hundreds (if not more) of keyblades..... was that a sneak peak at this game?.... cuz i saw a scene somewhere from the game that looked similar....

It's called Blank Points and it's in English on YouTube, it makes more questions than answers to me.

I'm about to put this game down for good, the gameplay is the only thing I liked about it.

i just looked at a bit of gameplay and realised that i would actually be able to play this.... (controls are different than the last time i tried a psp)

only problem now is getting the money to buy a psp and the game..... XD



unless theres psp emulators for the pc... o.o
