No, it came out in the states officially 12 days ago on the 14th. I remember it fondly, I bought the copy that normally goes in the window.

the original Phantasy Star games were made for the sega genesis, however after Phantasy Star End if The Millenium, there wasnt one made until the mid to late 90's with Phantasy Star Online Ver.1 for the Sega Dreamcast, and the PC as well, Followed a few months later by Phantasy Star Online Ver.2. After those 2 were made, they made Phantasy Star Universe for the PS2 in 2006, during that same year they re-made the original Phantasy Star Online with a few more added bits to the story, namely Episode 2, while a seperate version for the PC was in production that included Episode 4 which was called Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst. a little while after this they made a PSO Card Battle game for the PS2 I think it was, this had Episode 3 in it. After Phantasy Star Universe for the PS2 was released, they made an expansion/continuation of the story called Phantsy star Universe, Ambitions of The Illuminus. then after a few years of that game's release Phantasy Star Portabe was made for the PSP, while a seperate game was made for the Nintendo DS aptly called Phantasy Star 0 or PSZ for short with its sequel Phantasy Star Portable 2 coming out a few days ago.

Oh yeah, you could get the PC Versions of Phantasy Star Universe (Although its rare as hell to find, and their unofficial servers aren't exactly finished yet, Phantasy Star Online though is a free PC download and it has a free server that works, as for PSZ, you can more than likely find that in any video game store.

i don't know, its all a matter of taste really, I found PSU's storyline to be fun and interesting, but it wasn't very engaging, i mean no mini-games, puzzles, or anything like that, sure there were a few vehicle driving parts but that was like 2 missions.
Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst, its an OK MMO, but there arent a whole lot of people playing at the same time, ive never seen more than 350 on at one time not to mention it has no offline play so everything is done through the server that was made for it.
As for PSZ, that game has a good storyline, multiple endings/beginnings depending on the race you pick, and an overall fun story, the only bad thing about it is a seriously lame multiplayer mode, you log in, do one mission, then you automatically log out and you have to do it all over again.

well the story is fun, however the game has very VERY poor graphics, i mean the 3-D models for this game......the N64 has more polygons too it. But uh, that's just me, after all, its the story of the game that really matters right?

chaos is the one that gave me problems, so i was like f this

i still play dissidia but on the normal character story lines chaos was easy :O until i went on inward chaos i think its called and im still fighting tht damn ultimate chaos hes a lvl 110 :O but ive FINALLY managed 2 kill the first form but i still need 2 kill all 3 forms with out dieing (sarcastic) oh the joy ¬¬

Agreed. I am just going to beat Chaos then stop. I'm playing Zidane. All I've done since I started was kill everyone with him. Leveling in this game is retardedly easy. Zidane is at level 83 with just about 2-4 hours of quickplay (Plus killing Sephiroth and Onion Knight over and over and over again is hilarious). I want to fight Chaos to see how hard he really is because all I hear for the main reason to not play is because of his difficulty. This game is a joke. "Pound O until you gets lots of Bravery and then use Square". Battle over, cue victory fanfare, cue Cap'n Amarant being bored as shit. I've tried playing as other characters and I'm disappointed. Jecht sucks ass, Cloud is like watching a kid with down syndrome fight, I want to stab Onion Knight to death and so on. The voices are awful and the "Remakes" they did for half the music made some of the best songs in the game sound like a shitty remix you hear on youtube. They fucked over Crossing the Knoll and Battle on the Big Bridge.

I need to play some good games. Good thing my friend has a PS3 and he's letting me borrow it to play Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions and I'm thinking of giving XIII a shot but given I hated XII, I feel the game will be more of a chore than fun... like XII ;B. But I've been wrong before so I'll give it a shot before I shove in in the ground and make it lick white dog shit. And who knows, maybe I'll love it. I never wanted to play VII or X because I thought they looked stupid at first but I was won over by them.
