What Game(s) Are you Playing?

My first time playing any game is usually just to know what to do for my next run. I don't dive into games not knowing what I'm supposed to do. It's so I can do challenge runs. Like the Kingdom Hearts games, I played through the game on Beginner first so I could figure out what worked and what didn't and there was little risk if I made a wrong choice. then, I did No Damage runs on Proud Mode and had little trouble. It's senseless to simply dive head first into a game without a strategy.

It was also to experience the story with as little trouble as possible.

You should've seen the first time I played...I raged so hard against Cerebus, cause he is one of the hardest fights out there. Damn his triple spam -.-;

finally maxed out all of my characters on FF13....whew, now it's time to go finish off that last mark and put ff13 down for a while

I haven't posted in a while so let's see....I finished RE4 *Wii*, Dead Space Extraction *Wii*, and Vanquish *360* besides that I been enjoying Bioshock 2's and Gears of War 2's online MP.

Currently playing Duke Nukem Forever because it was half off in GAME. It's not that bad, quite enjoyable for a FPS, I don't understand where the hates coming from for it.


Also playing FFVI, Sims 3 3DS, Ocarina of Time 3D, Majoras Mask and Metal Gear Online on the side.

Still playing WKC II, finding the time to play it -.-;

@RY, the dialogue is the only answer I can give you, it isn't my type of game to begin with, but I've seen plenty of Ventrillo harassment vids to know that the writing wasn't good.

Playing Final Fantasy VIII, got the Card command, now I'm spamming it.

@Ry--you actually are enjoying that game??? It was a waste, (not really cuz I got it from RedBox), the writing was just too immature, it was just dumb--the graphics were some of the worst I've seen on this gen's consoles, gameplay was repetitive with little to keep you coming back for more, the highlight of the game was that you saw some boobs lol

On another note, I'm done with FF13, and now I'm playing Dragon Age 2 since some new dlc came out today

Well like I've made clear I've never really cared for graphics, it's a FPS so repetitive gameplay is expected as for the writing isn't the stupid little gags here and there technically what put Duke Nukem in the lime light in the first place. You can't really give it a serious plot like the Metal Gear series because Duke is supposed to be the embodyment of every action cliche imagined, so it's not supposed to be taken seriously.

I suppose another reason I'm enjoying it is because it doesn't take it self seriously, not like the other FPS titles I've played (The Conduit (plot was pretty good though but still a bit up it's on arse), GoldenEye (though it is the best written of the lot (and cause it's Bond I naturally don't take it that seriously)) Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 1 (the prime example of series with a head up it's arse), Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3 (at a friends on Co-op))

Might just be my perspective on games though. Like fighting games I don't think the "serious" tone suits a FPS mainly because the genre encourages you to run around blowing the s*it out of things without a moments hesitation. Not saying it can't be serious (swings and roundabouts) it's just not for me like that.

I understand about the graphics, but come on it is 2011.....This game looks like it was made for the N64....and it took 15 yrs to come out, it did have some easy achievements though lol....oh and how can you deal with those ridiculous loadtimes, omg it is soooo bad

The game made for some great memories though. lol

^^ Try playing Crash Bandicoot Warped on PS2. That game had 20 minute loading screens between stages.

Taking a break from FFVIII for a while. I have a high tolerance for tedium, but I have to give this a time-out for a little bit. PLAY SOME MOAR SYMPHONY OF THE NIGHT.

Playing some Persona 4 in hopes of maxing all the social links and getting ready to fight Margaret.

Trying to beat Duke Nukem on "Damm I'm good" mode. After that I will return to Final Fantasy VI

^People wonder why I avoid those games. SOTN is the only one capable of me beating it.

Final Fantasy XII, got all the espers and Hell Wyrm beaten. Tried Yiazmat for a trial run and quit for a better strategy.

I been playing the Saboteur*360* some DLC for Mass Effect 2 *360* and most resently some good old online MP in Halo Reach.

Beat Duke Nukem completely, playing FFVI again now...will continue as soon as I remember where I was going (game wise)

Final Fantasy II. Got pretty far and just stopped playing. But I paid money for it, and I've beaten almost everything else.

I play Duodecim every now and then just to play it. Since computers get unbelievably gay with equipment on, and I just like the battle system.

Mass Effect 2 (giving it a whirl, still waiting for it to install at the moment) and also Final Fantasy VI

The Saboteur and that's pretty much it.

Persona 4.... gonna restart it though... i think i'm too weak... XD

nothing all that exciting for me to play atm, so just a variety i guess
