FF III Help Thread

I know I'll have more problems with this game, but it's so much fun! I'm currently fighting the Salamander and I've got ice equipment on and I'm around lvl 20 or 30, I think, but he still does awesome damage to me no matter my DEF. Any advice?

Depends on the classes you're using. I had a knight, monk, black mage and white mage and beat him first try. What I did was the knight would soke up damage because s/he's got the highest defense while the white mage healed every round with cure and cura and the black mage hit with Blizzara, Blizzard and used some of the ice items that cast the spell free of MP while the monk was quick and hit hard.

Level the jobs well, I forget my levels because I haven't touched this game since January and I got a little further than there.
