have you read any books based off of a game that you liked? talk about them here. I have read the first two mass effect novels, and have pre-ordered the next one that comes out late this month, they are great stories, and i really dont even like reading. I also bought Dragon Age: the stolen throne, but haven't started it yet

cool, some of these games didn't even have books that I knew about until recently, some recap of the books i have read so far
Mass Effect: Revelation
this book is the prequel to mass effect and goes over how Captain Anderson meets Saren
Mass Effect: Ascension
This book covers the adventures of Kahlee Sanders, who was a friend of Anderson's. This takes place in the Grissom Academy and deals a lot with the pro-human group Cerberus
Dragon Age: the stolen throne
This book is the prequel to the first game, and covers the beginnings of King Maric and how he and Loghain met, etc

just finished the stolen throne, and man that is a great book. I highly recommend it for anyone who loves dragon age, it sheds a ton of light on King Maric who is Cailan and Alistair's dad, and Loghain. It actually feel some remorse for cutting loghains head off....briefly

just finished dragon age: the calling, and this book talks about King Maric's adventures and how he meets Alistairs mom, and it introduces the Architect who shows up in awakening for anyone who owns the expansion. Also Duncan is one of the main protagonists of the story and he is a new Grey Warden when the story begins, and it sheds a bit of light on his past

Halo: The Flood was a good book, i like how it covered in more detail the adventures of Chief and Cortana than the game did, plus the side story of an elite and a grunt.
