Relationships

When it comes to personal experience, I've been in so many relationships and kicked out of so many relationships that I'm pretty much dead inside, no joke, Haven't smiled a good true smile since 06 (I'm pretty much getting therapy from a gamer friend of mine.) Anyway, a nice girl is a good thing to have, however, children isn't something thats on my list, at least not until I'm married. If i could just find a nice women, one who doesn't care about my downsides and just likes my personality, then I'd be happy, I mean when I am friendly and not cooped up inside my own little tissue box of sadness and emotional despair playing video games all the time, I'm pretty interesting, but unfortunately i apparently don't have the good looks to back it up, and the perpetual scowl i have doesn't help. So yeah, love is nice, but it can kill you on the inside..............

I was in that position at one point, lucky for me, though, I'm happy enough to quit my addiciton to ProZac and depression altogether.

Well, it's official, my prospect became my girlfriend. As of December 3rd, I'm no longer single. We had a date on Sunday to go see Tron and we held hands throughout the whole movie, had to pop my wrist afterward though. xD She's camera-shy and I don't feel comfortable talking about her online, so I'm not sure if you guys will see her anytime soon, but I'm willing to wait.

Yeah I agree with ya there, maybe i should ask you for advice on how to get a girlfriend.

Being calm is most simplest thing, I think. Just being yourself isn't something to take for granted, although there are things that I like that my girlfriend doesn't, so I mention it every now and then, but we don't really discuss those things.

It just all depends on whether ur personalities fit or not, a lot of girls like someone with a sense of humor, so that wouldn't hurt, but other than that everyone is different, it is kind of a trial and error process and feeling each other out (not in a physical way)

@KOS-MOS, to reiterate my upper statement, try to look for someone with at least a couple relevant interests like yours. Find something you and her can talk about till the cows come home, like me and my gf can talk about just art for hours.

I believe in putting a women on a higher pedestal than men as long as they are modest, kind, comfortable, and keep a reasonable amount of reservation to themselves.
I'm force to sit next to some "things" daily on the bus that shouldn't even be compared to a real woman. Most of the adult males I know will tell you 9.9 of 10 times that they married upward. I'm a big fan of the first half of article of faith 13 as it states
"We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all mankind" so that's kinda where my morals come from.
As long as women at least keep themselves above the moral disgraces of the world, women can be considered superior, and no Real man ever has a reason to harm a real woman.

The only excuse to harm anyone is self defense, applies to women as well, honestly. Even then, I know I couldn't hit a woman, unless she severely threatened the life of someone I love.

I think having differences in a relationship is good too! Take for example the fact that I like FF games. My partner doesn't like FF games, but we've had a few topics about this and he's watched me play them which is in turn a good past time for us to do ^^

^Truth, my girlfriend doesn't even play games, but she enjoys watching me play, even though I feel awkward. She considers my nerdness cute.
