Is Simple Better? Empty Is Simple Better?

Post by Claire Wed Nov 10, 2010 4:39 am

This is more of an input on my current avvi, I used to make my own as flashy as I possibly could, but I have to place the Cecil sprite above all my others, mostly because of sentimental value, but I was wondering if you guys think it's too little.

But while this is a topic, I was wanting to see your guys' favorite, simple avvis.

I like simplicity as seen with my avatar. As Leon said, more effort on sigs and avatars.

Well it also depends on the user, some users try to be flashy all around, while some prefer simpler handmade things, there are some who prefer to blind others with a huge banner filled with flashing lights and images that might make an epileptic have a seizure.

Yeah, my dad would say the same thing. He's actually epileptic, so he can't even watch Blade without seizuring.

I like simple better too. (BTW, I love your current avvie ;P)

Too flashy in a too tiny space isn't always good.

no its not, sometimes much like nemo's avatar, a simple 2 frame animation can suffice, because it draws your eyes towards it, without being too imposing as a picture.
