I've Done It!

Been playing FFIV the last couple days and grinding my ass off, and just recently, I beat Barbariccia, when I had never even gotten past the Dark Elf in previous attempts in this game, so I'm getting my hopes up that I will finally overcome this game and have more of a reason to call Cecil my favorite FF hero ever.

Playing the original SNES version, so glitches are nowhere to be found (none that I know of, at least) and boss names and attack names are just...strange, so I know it'll take me a while, but this game calls for my dedication. lol

Wait, you've never beaten IV? I thought you did.

I had played it only so far and watched my uncle beat it. Ever since then, I'd get to Dark Elf and never overcome him. :p

The only (official) FFs I've beaten are I, X and XII. I've gotten pretty far in each of them with exceptions for VIII.

Stuck on the fucking doctor. Taking a sabbatical at the moment to focus on my pottery.

And if the DS' left shoulder button worked, I'd take you up on that offer. But I think I'll just wait to see if Square will be nice to me and release it again on PSP.
