This thread is to discuss the upcoming title thats part of the Kingdom Hearts series.

From what I gather the whole setting is withing Sora and Riku's dreams and has something to do with the mark of mastery exam.

At least it looks more interesting than recoded... anyways I have heard that Nomura is really getting involved in this one cause it leads up to KH 3 but who knows.

Man the Zelda series has the weirdest timeline of all. Spirit Tracks is the last in the timeline I think but I have no clue what the beginning is. Apparantly the writers have the whole plot figured out but who knows.

Oh yeah and Cap I dont think it's a step back, the Mark of mastery apparantly has some relevance with 3. If this is the Mark of Mastery (but seeing as though the trailer has the secret scene from Coded at the beginning with Yensid asking Mickey to get Riku and Sora for the mark of mastery).

Recoded is garbage lol. Oh yes, I absolutely agree with Zelda. But KH's just keeps making new games that explore the past of the main story rather than move it forward. This game will have like 1 or 2 mentions on what will happen in the future but from the trailer its just more backtracking worlds and antagonists that are already dead. I did notice they seem to be putting the Hunchback of Notre Dame into it but other than that it's just the same worlds, same bosses and a medeocre story of Sora and Riku angst for shit they already got over at the end of Kingdom Hearts II.

I'm not even bothering with this one, I'm sick and tired of all the story changing bullshit. Birth by Sleep utterly destroyed my hope for this game. I'm gonna go back to the first KH like an adult would do!

@DP, Legend of Zelda has a timeline? O_o I was totally unaware of this.

I found out about the timeline around the time TP was coming out so I don't know if Nintendo has done something to fix it.

Not that greatly interested in the story anymore but I will buy it because I own a 3DS and the gameplay looks good.

This series seriously gets fucking stupider and stupider as it goes on.

It's a money cow for Square and Disney though, just going to milk it till it's dry.

Like I said, only getting it cause the gameplay looks decent but it won't be a first day buy like Snake Eater 3DS or Sonic Generations. Might wait 2 months down the line or something.

I was never fan of the silly KH stories, but they're just fun to play. That's all.
Besides, I don't buy many games, so.. ;P
