Anniversary year
It's a year for a lot of gaming anniversaries. Sonic turns 20, Zelda and Metroid turn 25, Tomb Raider and Resident Evil both celebrate their 15th year's.
So yeah, discuss and celebrate these games also add other one's which need honourable mentions. Any upcoming special games or other gaming deals share the info here.
Well as I am the Sonic fan I will state that Sonic 1 has been released as DLC for PSN and Xbox Live, Sonic 4 Episode 2 is currently in development and then there is the matter of Sonic Anniversary which literraly clashes Modern Sonic and Classic Sonic together in an ultra mind f*ck.

Re: Anniversary year
Damn, the Sonic developers have really flourished in graphics, the landscape looks REAL. I want this game, The classics were ungodly addicitive.
Re: Anniversary year
I mainly want it to see how they can handle two Sonics.
Also I'm betting this comes out November - December (note the snow)
Another anniversary to note is it's the 10th Anniversary of Final Fantasy X (released in 2001 in Japan).

Re: Anniversary year
some Resident Evil games are coming to XBLA, that I'm looking forward to, and thinking about getting--they are Code Veronica, and I can't remember the other, RE 4 maybe, idk

Re: Anniversary year
SEGA have now realised a trailer showing off the gameplay for Sonic Generations
Apparantly both Sonic's represent different gameplay styles. You select Classic and the game stays in 2D and plays like an old Megadrive Sonic, select Modern and the gameplay is similar to Sonic Colours and Sonic Unleashed.
On a side note it's pretty awesome to see Green Hill in 3D
