LA Noire (may contain spoilers)

I thought I would make this thread for anyone who wants to discuss their thoughts on this game. So I just finished the story last night and will have a review up in a few days, but I just thought I would give some immediate thoughts on the game. First of all, probably the best job I have seen done with facial features in a game. Mind blowing, it really is, the environment is crisp as well, and the game has top notch voice acting. Like erel said in another thread tho, you sometimes need breaks from the game, bc there isn't a ton of action, and things can become monotonous at times. One big downer I have from this game is the ending. I will try not to spoil much, but it is a bit of a downer. RDR had a sad ending, but it seemed to fit, this one, well just doesn't sit right with me. Cole Phelps is made out to be a great guy in the first half of the game, and then becomes a d bag in a matter of minutes. He cheats on his wife, and for the last few cases, you don't even get to play as him. He leaves his wife, and then when you think you are going to reunite with an old "friend" in Jack, you find out, he doesn't really care much about you at all. The biggest d-bag in the game gets off scotch free, and it is just irritating considering the 20 hrs you put into the game, but I guess it gives the ending a realistic feel, not one of fiction

I'm glad you liked it, I thought it was pretty good, have you actually ever looked up the actor who played Cole Phelps? Aaron Staton is his name, it is pretty freaky how close on they actually look.
