Ok I figured it out.
Its a tribute album for majora's mask called "Time's end", and the countdown is the release date for the CD. That's some DAMN good marketing... I was sitting here thinking Nintendo wanted to be coy about a remake of MM.

They ran some pretty neat updates on their facebook page with all sorts of quotes from near the end of the game.

I applaud the creative verve on this endeavor, but I still want a remake of Majora...
