So 360 or PS3?

Ok...since the game is less than a month away I want to which version are you guys gonna be getting and why!

PS3 because I only own one (and also because its all on one disc)

Apart from that though there isnt really a difference between the two

that my friend is not always true, a big 9 times out of 10 PS3 version has better graphics than the 360 in their games. But then PC surpasses both -.-;

but anyways i am NEVER moving to the 360 and Final Fantasy doesn't deserve that disrespect so i am going for PS3 collector's edition.

Anyway back to topic I'm just curious about why XIII will be on the 360 in the first place. I assume it was to expand the market but Kojima didnt feel the need to do that with MGS4 (although different companies so maybe its about money wants vs loyalty)

wow, I guess ill back the 360 here, we all knew this was going to turn into a 360 vs PS3 thread. Ill try to stay as objective as possible here, even tho I own a 360 so I understand if you think Im biased. Erel, your right I dont think the 360 is having a CE, bc I cant get one. Leon there is no difference in the graphics between a 360 and Ps3, it depends on the game you are playing, give me a break. Ya 360's have problems-- the RROD for instance which is a pain in the ass, and xbox live can cost a lot of money, but it also has it's benefits, better games for the most part and a lot more content on xbox live--(ps3 does have great titles as well) ff13 will be just as good on both consoles, the advantage that ps3 has if ff13 Versus which as of right now is a PS3 exclusive. Leon give me 9 instances in a game that is on both consoles where the graphics are better for ps3, also how was Phoenix being aggresive? dude stop being so sensitive

The 360 is alright but I agree, to me there isnt much difference if you take away the exclusives

From what I know, both the 360 and PS3 versions have really no difference graphics wise. Square worked super fucking hard to make sure the game didn't look like a port for 360 but it still has to deal with the massive disk swapping but come on people, remember a little system called PSX where FF7-9 had multiple disks? Yeah sure, in this time and age that's fucking sad with the technological advancement but I think that will give an old school feel for people who never played 7-9 for those Xbox/newer gamers who never experienced it.

And whoopty fucking doo, special collectors box ohhh that's such a good reason to get it for PS3. You know, a metal fucking box and a some extra shit no one really cares about for an additional 20 bucks. Fuck that, give me the normal version, hell I don't even need the box, gimmie the cd or the floppy or whatever the fuck it is!

I find really no need for a special edition for a game. What does it give you? Really? A folded up poster that can never have the crinkles folded out? A metal box? It's fine and dandy if you want that but I say no thanks.

As always. ps3 v.s. 360 arguments always pops up. Most of the time the two can never be in the same conversation.

And as for the cool metal box, Hey I have the spare 20 bucks and I happen to be a collector and not to mention I don't have a 360 anymore, so boo yah.

I'm getting a PS3, simply cause I trust Sony WAY more than Microsoft. I also have no interest in some of the games that the 360 has, Left 4 Dead was the only game I could play on it. >_>

I also wanna play Final Fantasy XIII on the PS3 cause it feels normal. Playing it on the 360 would feel like cheating on Sony and betraying Square at the same time. :p

Its just hit me that this will be the 7th FF to be on a Sony console (meaning the Sony FF's have outnumbered the Nintendo FF's (not counting spin offs and re-releases))

Now they're switching over to the 360. -_-

the only reason Square did that is because more 360's are sold in the U.S. than PS3, so they make more money. I think every game should be on all consoles to be honest, but that will never happen

ya once Versus comes out, I will find a way to get a PS3, and then I will play Heavy Rain, and the Uncharted games as well
