funny/embarrasing moments/miracles

basically if something really funny, embarrasing happened while you were ever cooking put it here.... also put times down when something was almost definatly going to go wrong but miraclously turned out ok... lol

i don't do much cooking so i can't put much... but i got this one

i was heating up garlic bread in the oven... (the kind thats already cooked but frozen and is in a plasticy sleeve type thing that you leave on when you cook it)

anyway... it was only meant to be in there for about 20 minutes... but i forgot about it... for over an hour... >_>.... when i remembered i ran to my oven expecting black garlic bread and loads of smoke.....

however.... it wasn't even slightly burnt.... the plastic sleeve though had shrunk and was a pain to get off the bread.... the only thing that wasn't right about the bread was it was a little more dry than usual...

lol i remember 1 time i got those noodles tht u need 2 put water in and put in the microwave right but the only thing i didnt do is put water in :S so the tub thingy was all black and so was the noodles ¬¬ wht a waste like but i couldnt believe i forgot something so simple :L i only relised this when the microwave made a big noise XD

I was cooking some Spring Rolls on Saturday but because I was drinking with my friends I had completely forgot about them and came back to the oven about an hour later. Apparently (because I can't remember from being too drunk), I ran in the room to all my friends and went "No!! I've burnt the Prawn Toast" and they all just looked and me and went, "Umm, aren't they Spring Rolls?"

I can't even remember doing it XD

Haha yeah it's because of the size of my containers. I was getting the wort mixture out and placing it in a santisized container to be placed in to a fermentation spot, but me being me decided to pick the giant container up over my head so I could carry it.

Now imagine a 5ft2 girl trying to pick up a container that's almost as heavy as her but just enough for her to lift, manages to get it above her head and then it slips out of her hands because theres beer running down the sides of it.

I woke up and found myself covered in beer laid in a bed downstairs. Not the funnest thing possible. Problem is, I've done it twice again since that incident.

It wasn't that painful...I laugh about it everytime I think about what happened lol! I mean who gets knocked out when making beer O.o

Well yeah, but when they're not around or attending to other duties it's a little hard for me to ask them to carry something.
