Hansou spun the handle of a frying pan in his hand and looked over at Asuka... "alright... name it... anything... and I'll make it up for you..." Hansou said happily enjoying the sights around him...

"Hmm..."Asuka thought for a moment before turning to Hansou to respond. "Why don't you surprise me hm?"

"a surprise huh?.." Hansou repeated to himself thinking about what to make... "ahh... I have just the thing..." he then rummaged his way across the room pulling out this and that out of the cuboards as if he had lived here his entire life...

A light smile managed unto Asuka's lips as she watched Hansou run back and forth around the kitchen in effort to gather the necessary items to prepare the meal he'd promised her. "Take your time" She whispered while still smiling lightly

Hansou readily put the oven on and brought out a large number of ingredients... eggs, onions, mushrooms, green tea leaves, beef tenderloin, shoya soy sauce, among other things... he then placed a small saucepan on the stovetop and turned up the heat... he then used a wok and put alittle oil... he then diced the onions and put them in the wok with the oil and turned up the heat... "do you like mushrooms?.." he asked picking them up and showing them to her...

Her cheek was rested comfortably upon her palm while Asuka stared out the window beside her. Her expression was blank and dazed, she appeared to be in a state of deep thought and had no idea what was going on around her until she heard a voice echo in the back of her mind bringing her back to reality. "Hm?" She asked turning back around only to see Hansou staring at her. "Yeah sure" She replied lightly.

"umm... alright..." Hansou said going back to his work... he looked back at Asuka once before cutting up the mushrooms... this time his work was less enthusiastic... the saucepan started to boil so he added green tea leaves and put the lid on and let it steep... he added the mushrooms to the wok and began to stir it in the oil...

"asuka... are... you alright?.." Hansou asked keeping an eye on the wok...

She didn't even wait to hear what Hansou's reply was instead Asuka slowly turned in her chair and regained her previous position. She was seated upright with both palms rested upon her cheeks and her gaze was set outside which appeared to be getting darker and darker by the second. "Rain?" She questioned herself softly. Before she process her thoughts further Hansou called out to her thus causing her to slowly return back to reality much to her dismay. "Hm?" She questioned with an airy voice. "Oh yes I'm fine Hansou"

Hansou sighed but tried to keep his composure... he moved to the oven and pulled out the tenderloin... he then melted some butter adding it to a liver pate... he then added some salt and pepper then spread it over the beef...

Just as she predicted it did in fact begin to rain, what started out as a small sprinkle of rain soon turned into a full on downpour. With a light yawn Asuka folded her arms and laid her head upon them while still looking outside. "The rain always makes me tired."

Hansou looked outside for a moment... 'wow... she has an amazing gift...' he thought to himself... he poured some of the onions and mushrooms over the beef... he then got to work making dough...

"Asuka... how did aquire that power of yours?.." he said cracking some eggs in a bowl and pulling out the flour from the cupboard... "it must be nice to be able to do the things you do..."

Hearing Hansou call upon her once more Asuka sat up from her resting position and stretched out her hands in a cat-like motion before rubbing her eyes and turning to him. "My power..." She repeated but lowly. "Hmm..." Her eyes fell to the ground while in her mind she was trying to find a way to explain it clearly enough so he would understand her and not be confused. "Well..." She began now looking up again "I guess you could say I was born with it"

"wow..." Hansou said thinking about it himself... "just like my brother... you must've been really lucky to be able to get a power like that..."

He put the beef on the dough and wrapped it sealing the edges... then he placed it in a baking dish and coated it in an egg yolk... then he placed it in the oven again... he added an assortment of vegetables to the wok and bay leaves aswell... then he strained the tea from the saucepan into a bowl...

Hearing Hansou's comment Asuka couldn't help but sigh lowly to herself. "Or very unlucky" She whispered to herself before putting her head down again.

The room suddenly filled with an aura which held a feeling of discomfort causing Asuka to cringe. "Cold..." She whispered. Feeling the feeling grow stronger with each passing second Asuka decided to excuse herself from the room. "Please excuse me Hansou..." She whispered standing up. "I'll be outside." She bowed lightly to him before going down the hallway and out the door.

A breath of relief escaped past her lips when she finally reached outside, she no longer felt the strong aura which tried overtake her just a few moments ago. She perched herself comfortably and watched as the rain continued to fall which no intent on stopping anytime soon. 'Better' She thought before leaning backward. While she stared into the misty clearing she could of swore she something in the distance but brushed it off as her mind playing with er again.

Hansou put the finishing touches on the meal...

"alright... a mushroom consomme soup with soya sauce... beef wellington with broth mixed with red wine... and for desert a green tea sorbet... I hope she likes it..." he put it on the counter and watched it carefully looking for any imperfections... "I wonder where she ran off to..." he said putting the pots in the sink to wash... but he stopped when a cold rush flew up his body... his throat felt tight and it became hard to breathe... and a shadow came from the doorway of the kitchen... he turned around to see a familiar person... "brother..." was the only word he could gasp out...

Without warning a shadow moved through the misty fog and right past her which caused her to gasp lightly. The essence she felt run through her felt familiar and at the same time foreign. "What?" She asked with a palm now on her calmy forehead. Her breathing began to quicken as new feeling began to run through her as if warning her somehow to go back inside. "Hansou..." She quickly staggered unto her feet and quickly ran inside. "Hansou" She called after him while running down the hallway. She could feel it, the feeling began to grow stronger as she neared him.

Hansou was thrown across the kitchen and then into the crashing through the door... he slammed against the wall and fell to the floor with a thud... Kurin then walked calmly out of the wreckage of the kitchen and walked up to Hansou...

"pathetic... useless... you are lower then trash..." he said enjoying every word... he then put a foot on Hansou's back pressing against his spine causing Hansou to cry out...

"Han-" She opened her mouth to call out to him once more but froze mid-sentence when she saw the sight before her. There in front of her was an unfamiliar face who was now standing in a pile of wreckage staring down at a injured Hansou. She wanted to move, she wanted to do something but fear had her frozen. His power was strong and his aura was dark. Was this what I felt moments ago? She asked in herself while now trembling. She wasn't even in front of him and already he had some kind of effect on her.

"Hansou..." Kurin said stepping on him again... "you are a failed member our or family... how dare you make me have to come all this way to get you... me... delivering a worm back home... this is the most disgraceful thing I have ever done..." he looked around with a disgusted look on his face... "to lose yourself to such poultry and sinful things as this..." he stomped again on Hansou's back...

"brother... I..." Hansou tried to say before a crushing foot came down on him again... then he saw Asuka across the hall... 'Asuka... no... run....'

"Kurin immediately picked up on his brother's pleas and turned his gaze to Asuka... "well well... what is this that we have here?.." he said taking his foot off of Hansou... "are you the one who spoiled this little whelp to this undeserving luxury?.."
