The Darker Temptation

Yoi stopped and looked out across the streets... He stood for a minute, allowing his thoughts to focus... then he raised his arm and pointed to a large church in the distance... "there... your sister is there... and there are others there aswell... I'm not able to tell where Crescent is though... so when we go in, we have to make sure that we are well prepared for whatever lies ahead..." he turned towards the two... "are you TRULY ready Jake and Aria?.." he asked trying to communicate with the human side of them...

Jake's expression wavered and the fallen felt his worry seeping into his words. "Ready as I'll ever be." Jake knew he couldn't take on Cresent alone, hell he hardly knew if the guy had back up. Was he really ready to risk other peoples lives for that? Was he really willing to destry the family that had raised him over something that he caused? Maybe he should just give himself in and let it all be done with. 'Then what?' The thought made him frown slightly and he spoke up finally. "I have absolutely no idea what I'm getting myself into."
