I liked the idea of Dress Spheres because FFX2 is a very jovial and girly {and eye candy} game. I think each dress sphere has sort of a tribute to some of our favorite Old time FF Characters. I'll list one, we can discuss the rest.

Samurai Dress Sphere: Obviously Rikku's outfit is Auron based. But we all know there were many FF Samurais back in the day. Cyan is one.

YOu're right it was a job. It was also a job in FF tactics. I was just mentioning about main characters who had those jobs specificaly based on them.

Ah. Mascot is the only Dressphere I've yet to acquire, so no input on that. And I haven't played FFVIII, so I'm not sure if Gunner was a job in a previous game or not...

Irvine would be the gunner of FFVIII so that could be the tribute o him.

Vincent would be a gunner too.

Of course Rikku's default Dressphere {The hott Thief one} would be for Locke, Yuffie, and Ziddane.

And of course the Lady Luck outfit is Setzer's job class; the gambler.

I totally want the international version of X-2. Leon just reminded me, you get new damn freakin dresspheres and a new mission!!!!

Obviously the White/Black mage dress-spheres are tributed to a lot of FF games (too many to jot down)
The Berserker Dress sphere (although while it looks different) was a job in FF3
Dark Knight was a job in a few FF games, Warrior was too.


I personally wouldn't have minded with a Dragoon Dress-sphere, with gold/blue armor similar to FF3 for the DS with a spear style weapon.

Dragoon would've been my most used one, seeing Yuna or Rikku decked out like Kain, that would be badass.
