My fav book is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. A REALLY good book. Seriously.
I'm in the middle of reading Sophie's World and loving it.

I always loved Stephen King's It when I was little but I've got in to a more different books as I've gotten older. I'd still say it's my favourite but there a few new ones I like too.
I'm also a sucker for Charlaine Harris's books, including The Sookie Stackhouse novels and the Grave novels.

Stephen King's Carrie is my current number one. Nothing has manages to beat it in my eyes yet although the Laundry books by Charles Stross are pretty cool too.

You Don't Know Me by David Klass....
apparantly the book is used in some schools for book projects in England (might be in America as well... wouldn't know)
i first read it at my town library that i'd go into after school... read it in less than a week... ended up buying it so i could have a copy for myself....
i actually can almost relate to the guy in the book... the way he feels... i have felt.... i also love the way its written... its kinda a mixture of 1st person and 3rd person....
for the hell of it i'll write the first page here.... lol...

You don't know me.
Just for an example, you think I'm upstairs in my room doing my homework. Wrong. I'm not in my room. I'm not doing my homework. And even if I were up in my room I wouldn't be doing my homework, so you'd still be wrong. And it’s not really my room. It's your room because it's in your house. I just happen to live there right now. And it's not really my homework, because my math teacher, Mrs. Moonface, assigned it and she's going to check it, so it’s her homework.
Her name's not Mrs. Moonface, by the way. It's really Mrs. Garlic Breath. No it's not. It's really Mrs. Gabriel, but I just call her Mrs. Garlic Breath, except for the times I call her Mrs. Moonface.
Confused? Deal with it.
You don't know me at all. You don't know the first thing about me. You don't know where I'm writing this from. You don't know what I look like. You have no power over me.

- The promise of the wolves (I forgot the author xD) aaaand The Horse Whisperer of Nicolas Evans, I think. (there were some scenes I really wanted to skip, though xD)
Re: What's your favourite book?
Hard to pick, there are soooo many good books. Here are some books that if you've not read, I encourage you ALL to read them.
The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Justin
The Night Angel Trilogy by Brent Weeks
The Book of Ralph by John McNally
Troublemakers by John McNally
Love Medicine by Louise Erdrich
Any Sherlock Holmes story (Hound of Baskervilles and others) by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Too tired to think of some others. But like I said before, never read 'em? Do it now.
