Thank you for the warning. I still have Chaos and Ultima before Zodiark, I have trouble getting to Ultima, the Great Crystal has antlike enemies where they're pathetic till they outnumber you. I'm not in a real hurry to fight Chaos, my magic damage just feels low, it may just be because I use the Zodiac Spear, but I always do 1,000 or so less damage to everything with any spell than I do with the Zodiac Spear. Point being, I'm not in a hurry to have a Magick heavy battle.

or you could do the infinte chain on the jellies in the mines and get everyone to 99<<, its cheap but hell works for me

Those things only give about 300 or something per kill. I don't remember the Henne mines having an infinite jelly trick...

ooh its a fun trick, they keep spawnin and you keep killing without takin damage or anything. forgot the gambit set up thou -.-;

You petrify them and they keep spawning.
Sadly, the trick doesn't work in IZJS, as you need a time mage to cast Break....


One abysteel = 20 jellies.
I kill about 50 a go, so that's 1,000 jellies... in 20 minutes.
The same time for jellies would be about 6 hours.

The auto method is really inefficient, just so ya know.

ineffective if ur freakin awake and playing, but if you want to go sleep or go out for a while its not

Ok let me rephrase it: Once you get above lvl 90, there is no point doing it. It will make less than a 1% dent in your exp.

Abysteel's like a bat thing, right? I need to dig out my guidebook, I'm starting to want some better weapons...Zodiac Spear is the only rare item I have...

i think i ended up making the tornasol or whatever, that sword is freaking sweet, took forever to get the materials tho

I never bothered with it.
2x Ultima Weapons and a Masamune + Genji Gloves combo did more than enough damage for me, even against Yiazmat.

The damage cap in the game makes a lot of the end game weapons redundant, as they offer no advantage.

In IZJS, the removed damage cap is win.

You non-Americans get all the perks, I might move to Europe one day...

Aside from that, I've finally gotten all the Espers, tried getting to Zodiark and rage-quit that mission then I grinded some, not sure if I wanna try again...
