I know that a lot of people didn't like how you needed to do the same things over and over again for every target.

^ I noticed that you actually finished the Desmond simulations for Revelations...*sight* did they really feel like the game needed their own version of portal?

idk I guess so, I mean they weren't bad, but they didn't really feel like AC either, so I didn't know what to think.

yes, that is all it is. Gives you some insight on Lucy and her uh...situation (no spoilers) but it is just a bunch of platforming

Odd note: I totally posted this response to the Borderlands thread. lol.

I lost interest in the game after brotherhood... however ACIII has bleeped in my gaming radar. I might actually delve into it...

The story just went all over the place in my opinion and they perpetuated it for far too long(3 games), which I understand the concept of trilogy, but I just didn't feel compelled with Ezio's story for that long. Gameplay rocks, but that can only go so far with me.

If I wanted a sandbox game with awesome gameplay, I have many other roads I could delve into it.

somewhat similar to the way I felt. I love Ezio, and that's why AC2 was so great, but brotherhood and revelations were starting to reach for story arcs. That is why I think AC3 will be a breath of fresh air. I also think we need to get to the end of Desmond's story now. The thing I loved about brotherhood tho was the gameplay and the mp may be one of my favorites of any game.

Appearently there will be a new AC title released soon..

http://assassinscreed.ubi.com/ac3/nl-nl/media/media.aspx?c=tcm:28-76472&ct=tcm:6-231-32

I'm not sure if I like the story so far o.o

I seriously lol'ed when I read it. 'Evil king George'..

I also liked Ezio far more than Connor.. Connor was a little empty and dull to me ( Haytham had a way more interesting personality)

Not played 3 yet but will get to it eventually, it looks good.

Loved the first game, enjoyed the second. brotherhood and revelations seemed like 2.1 and 2.2, just molking the cash cow on them two.

I just noticed this on my Tumblr today.. It's probably a new assassin character.

Am I the only one to think he looks a lot like FFXIII's Snow ?! o.o

Supposedly the next one will have to do with pirates and the open sea, I'm not sure how many more of these games they can put out before the series becomes stale....I think we are right at that breaking point right now.

I must agree on that :/ The story has reached its point now I think.. However, maybe Desmond & Co. don't play a part anymore ? I don't know...

The new protagonist is Haytham's father (basically Connor's grandfather).

The new trailer looks good, although it kinda looks like an assassin's version of 'pirates of the carribean' :') I love the realism, though.
(and I'm sorry if the comments are in Dutch, but I'm too lazy to search an English site. The trailer stays the same)

The game itself looks good, but I always thought we would have a full blown modern day AC and play as Desmond the whole way through...

Maybe that's for later ? I don't know if Desmonds' story really ended or not ?
Pff, we'll see.

And also.. Snow isn't the only character that looks like the new main, hehehe.
