I know this year has been great for some of you guys but..it's been a slow year for me so my choices are really limited.

I enjoyed playing the few new games I got this year but there wasn't a single one that I would call my GOTY cause I liked them all the same.

I'm going to add my two cents at the beginning of the year since I have a feeling I'm getting more games from the wifey under the Xmas tree. lol.

I have a feeling I might be getting King of Fighters XIII, which I Know won't affect my theory on my fighting game genre, but just in case. But My game of the Year is already made up. lol.

I heard King of Fighters XIII is actually pretty awesome, I'm not much into fighting games, but it did win best fighting GOTY from Gamespot

I know I'm late, but I wanted to bring this out there. Now I know I missed a few areas of gaming genre and added my own. But hey, this is my own recognition. Give me a break.

are you listing ME2 this year bc of the PS3 port?

If Mass Effect 2 came out for consoles and PC on 2011, it would be my Number one on WRPG, Best Voice Acting, and It would be my Game of the year. But yes, since it ported on ps3 last year and it was out already a year earlier for both X360 and PC, it is technically a 2010 game.

But still, I think it was note worthy to call out.

How's Batman Arkham City an RPG? Dead Space had an RPG feel when it came to upgrading stuff but I don't consider the game to be an actually RPG .

It had an upgrading/level up system, it was open world, and it made players feel how to be in Batman's shoes/role. Like the genre said, action rpg. It was a made up genre on my account since I wanted AC to have more recognition than voice acting. I guess I could've put it on the genre I made up for Infamous and Saints Row since they also have the same feel but, oh well.

That's my reasoning for that. This whole recognition part I made was mostly leaning to my own liking and feel.

I consider both Arkham City and Dead Space games to be action/ adventure. And you can throw in horror for dead space. But that's just me.

I give you props for really sticking to a fighting game, Nemo. The sad thing about me is that I started gaming with Fighting games {street Fighter} and couldn't peel myself away with Street Fighter II Turbo for a long time. Nowadays I buy at least 2 fighting games a year and I only play them for a month before I don't stick them in my Ps3.....

Yeah, but it's also one of the only titles of 2011 I've gotten to play for more than a couple hours. But it was beaten in voice acting by Portal 2 quite easily.

No doubt, Portal 2 is a classic, and I hate puzzle games, but from everything I have seen on it, it was almost flawless

you know what Erel--Chainsaw Lollipop looks like the kind of game made just for you. I won't touch Darksiders 2, just bc I hated the first one, even if it is improved. Idk if you play any PC games or not Erel, but 360 is getting the ported version of The Witcher 2, which looks amazing, I can't wait for that game.

LOL. I can agree to that statement about Chainsaw Lollipop. But witcher 2 has been in my scope for a long while now but I've never been a big PC gamer. However when I heard it was transferring over, my heart stopped for a bit. One day I'll have a 360 again and I'll play it.

I don't really know why I put Darksiders 2 on the list. I mean, I did enjoy the first one, I thought there was a lot of neat things that came out of it, I loved the game play and the story ain't half bad. Characters are interesting look wise, but.... I don't know. I'm just solely waiting for the story. I'm not lookin forward to the godamn puzzles though.

I tried so hard to like the first darksiders, but every time I would get to something enjoyable and enjoy the combat, guess what, I had to solve a puzzle to move another 10 ft before I had another puzzle, to me it just felt like it was trying to pad the game and make it longer with pointless puzzles
