*Is a grizzled veteran of the The Great Flame War* M-hmm, I remember those days, terrible times they were, the mods were kept busy almost all day, it was complete madness that was.

Anyway I'm up for a little friendly competition or two, also I also have an idea on how to get a little more traffic to the site, why don't we make a Facebook profile dedicated entirely to the site and those of us with Facebook accounts join up onto its "Friends List" and their friends see it and so on and so forth, I mean if toothbrushes and peanuts can have a "follow us on Twitter or Facebook" (and seriously I've seen it) why can't we, Ironic that this comes from one of the members who doesn't use Facebook.
On a side note, if this plan comes to fruition, i might make a profile and uh, do stuff with it, i suppose, what IS Facebook good for anyway?

Well, I'm not saying that those of us who don't use Facebook have too just to get a little added site traffic, if ya don't wanta, ya don't hafta.

Anywhoo, in honor of nemo's request for a war story I might as well give him one...........'Tis the summer of '07, I was a super mod just returning from a trip to Virginia, and when I login I see total chaos, people posting garbage about each other or stuff thats totally out there, and countless members were being perma-banned for no reason...........it was a freakin mess. So I pretty much stayed up an entire night to help with cleanup........and un-ban a few people that other less responsible mods (Speak not ill of who is not here, but we probably know at least one) had banned..........I also remember that this S-mod Jimi kept banning a member because of a comment the member had said, so I had to keep unbanning him and give Jimi a good E-smack and tell him to grow a spine and take harsh criticism.

I do like the facebook idea and yes I know a few of you have Facebook accounts, *glares at everyone* I suppose I could make one for myself, and give this plan a try.

annnnnd.... do you happen to remember if i was around at that point?.... i remember a Jimi.... and him banning for stupid ass reasons... but... i don't remember a flame war..... T.T....

nah, ya didn't have internet access, ya made a notice of it a few weeks before-hand.

i was a super mod!! had been since before FFD was even FFD!!.... a flame war would have allowed me to use my powers.... i barely ever did because the other mods usually got to stuff first... >_<

ok, ok, let's focus on the here and now though, if we want this place too be as FFD was in its heyday we need to put together a plan.

Was irresponsible S-Mod me by chance? I remember me f-ing up all over FFD, maturity definitely helped me, cause I got praise every single day at another vBulletin forum for becoming the Bot Slayer in 2 months of signing up. That place has sadly died, however.

Anyway, for the FaceBook, I'd take over, but I'd forget about signing in eventually. *stands upon Pillar of Low Confidence* How the hell I get up here? >_> <_<
