The general looked just as surprised as Mateo and Arata, who exchanged glances before looking to Hime. 'What is she doing?!' Was their shared thought, not understanding why she would so suddenly give herself up, especially with this air of confidence. 'Where did this come from?' Mateo thought, staring at Hime poised in the man's chair like she ran the place. Hell, the soldiers that were watching her believed she could.
The General would normally have been pissed off and had her thown in a cell somewhere for this act of defiance. But then again...this was a new, intersting advisary. He looked to her, his smile calculating as he took her offer into consideration. "Alright, you have yourself a deal. But just to make sure we're clear on this, you're friends will be placed under my men's supervision till this is all said and done. Then they're free to go, no harm done to any of them." He said, giving her the once over. "Such a valuable prize won. My assistant will show you to a room. The quick ceremony will be in an hour." He said, giving his men a slight jerk of his head towards the door. They grabbed Mateo and Arata, both of course rsisting.
"Hime, you don't have to-!" Mateo shouted as he was dragged back but the door was slammed in his face. The General chuckled, "Seems the boy isn't too happy with this arrangement after all, Hime. Hmm odd name, but has a nice exoticc flaire to it." He said as the armed man who spoke english bowed slightly to Hime.
"I'll escort you to you're room, madamioselle."

Arata gave Mateo a dirty look the entire time they were dragged down to the holding cells. Finally when they were thrown in the cell, Arata went to yell at him but Mateo interupted him.
"Freya!" Mateo hurried to the cell bars seperating them in their side by side cells. He had a relieved look on his face to match the relief he felt that she was alive and unharmed.
"Are you alright? No one hurt you?" He asked of hher, then noticed the dog in her arms.
"Who's that?" Arata rolled his eyes.
"Great genious. You get the wonder fish back and now you're just going to forget that now Hime's stuck with that french prick upstairs. Nice job, hero." Arata growled and Mateo gave him a glare.
"wonder fish?" He asked in annoyance and Arata huffed, rolling his eyes at how that was the only thing Mateo commented on.

Hime sighed and rolled her eye's .

" damned boys... you smile once and they are in love... " she said smiling, " if its not one its another "

she giggled and got up, " and my name means princess in my language " she said grinning.

" i am UtaHime , or singing princess." she bit her lip, " hmmmm i am glad you see me as much a win as i see you... politically... you and i can climb to our hearts content"

she walked up close to him standing on her toe's to kiss his cheek lightly before winking at him, " try not to fall in love with me too quickly "

she said before walking out the door and fallowing her guides.

The General sighed as she left and found himself watching after her. Such an odd catch for him to find in such a place. Best yet, he could tell she got it. Sure she was attractive like no other woman he'd seen before, foreigner or not, but she understood this life was less about love for just lust and emotion but for the thrill of rising past your occasion. And she could be useful for such climbing, a good woman of skill.
"You seem quite taken with her, General Felipe." One of the more confident, higher ranked men said.
"Not taken, but intrigued." He mused before getting back to his work.

"This is your room, for the part time being of course." The man said, giving Hime a small bow as he opened to a well lit and regal accomidation of a room used to entertain royal guests that come to the ports. "I hope this is all to your liking. A change of clothes has been provided in the washroom." A maid said as she came from the door to the separate sitting room.
The guard took his leave and the maid relaxed, looking Hime over as she dusted off a pillow.
"This is the first I've heard of a woman so...close to General Felipe. Mind if I ask your name, Madame?" She asked with a tight smile.

Hime smiled at the girl wanting her to relax more then she was.,...

" not close... just mutual useful to each other "

she let her body relax as she sighed, " i am UtaHime, you may call em Hime " she said as she started to take her cloths off," i would like a bath if i can" she said as nice as she could while still acting like a lady of Privilege.

she was going to get this over with... she would die.... if not soon in a few days... her immortal self will be over. she would have no connection to the mermaid wold after this...

"Yes Lady UtaHime." She said though she had a bit of trouble with her accent, pronouncing her name. She walked to the bathroom and prepared the bath hoping it would be to her liking. After all she'd never catered to a female before.
"The bath is ready." She came back and told her after a while before heading to the door. "If you need me pull that bell over by your door. I will be with you as quickly as I can." She informed her before curtsieing.

Hime got into the bath enjoying the heat in her aching bones.

her body was cold and she could not get warm... but this was good...

she was out of the back and dressed in a dressing gown as she lay on the bed to sleep.

she was tied... and in no time at all she would be getting married and for this... she would need her strength...

((lol where to begin! Okay well, see Freya is in jail right, so Mateo of course is all concerned and beside himself to help her. Hime on the other hand, is a bit more reluctant. She's a little jealous about Mateo's concern for Freya so she kinda runs off. Well Rei leaves because the curse Hime cast is disappearing and she realizes she's becoming human. Well a guy from Mateo's past shows up, named Arata who is that cocky sorta trouble maker that constantly buts heads with Mateo. Arata ends up saving Hime there for Mateo agrees to let him hang around. Um, so they go to the miliatary base to get Freya out of jail with a bargain to sell off Arata for Freya. But the General ends up turning the tables on them and gets it to where Hime offers herself to save Freya, Mateo and Arata. So, to prevent her going back on her word, the general throws the guys in jail with Freya. And now they have to help Hime escape from there too while getting themselves out...yeah, alot has happened, Did I get all of it Aka?))

"Lady UtaHime!" the maid came calling in the morning, opening the closed draped to let in light with a smile. "Did you have a lovely sleep?" She asked, placing tea at the foot of her bed.

Hime got up but keep her composure... she was to be a lady right now...

she sighed, " thank..." he smiled and took the cup happily letting the heat of the drink warm her up.

" ah.... very nice." she commented, " what is the idea for the day.. a dress fitting or is he more so on tradition then i would picture him to be?" she asked

of course... she had no clue what tradition was... much less what would happen in a human marriage... was it like mermaids at all....

The maid nodded as she laid out some clothes for Hime. "shockingly I'm afraid to say no. But it is important for you to meet a few of the other commanding officers before the wedding ma'am. Over bruuch I believe. Afterwards is your dress fitting." She smiled brightly though she was obviously a little uneasy. She as well as most of the staff were confused as to why such a quick marriage had been struck. Practically all of Port Charles was alive with gossip.

hime smiled at this news, " good that i believe to be the best "

she got up and dressed with a good speed. she smirked looking at her reflection in the mirror.

Hime was beautiful... bright as the sun and just as golden...

she looked to the maid and twirled around," what do you think? " she asked before getting ready to leave out the door.

The maid even had to blush at Hime. The girl was definately gifted in looks. She nodded and bowed slightly. "You look lovely, Lady UtaHime." She held the door for her. "The carriage will be outside in a few minutes, madame."

Hime smiled and took her leave...

today would be another good act she would live it up as a new person.

she made it out side due to the help of many helpful guides.

seems the men that fallow him had no problem fallowing her either...

this would be good for latter... she smiled and waved to them as she was helped into her ride...

the ride was short, and surprisingly nice...

"So who is this that the General has found?"
"I don't know. My cousin says she's the daughter of a foreign Lord."
"I've never heard of her and I'm surprised Felipe kept her hidden from us."
The heads of military command whispered amongst each other, till of course Felipe arrived with the escort of his men.
"Good morning gentlemen, she should be arriving shortly." He said and even the women sitting at a nearby table cranes their necks at the carriage arriving. When on of the armed guards opened the door and the general offered her a hand down the cafe fell silent. When they saw Hime it erupted into whispers and awed yet confused sounds. "This gentlemen, is Lady UtaHime, my fiancé."
The men looked at one another then at the woman infront of them.
"It's a pleasure, Madame." One decorated officer said and the others added in their words of praise.
"Lets sit." one offered and they took a seat at a cafe.
Everyone there stared at her and all were gossiping amongst each other.

Hime smiled letting her hand rest on Filipe's shoulder till she was in her seat and then blushed and simpered to the new audience.

" it is a pleasure to meet you all and thank you for meeting me " she she said looking to Filipe.

she giggled and used a hand to cover her face as if she were shy.

" im sorry... im a little new at this... this is my first time in France you see" she said lightly.

her eye's brightened up when she recognized the cafee they were at as she turned excitedly to Filipe, " AH oh dear Filip! please my i have a choco late i would be so happy i could kiss your cheek if you would be so kind" she chirped in excitment as she acted cute.

"But of course, Hime." He responded and the men were awed at Hime's innocent air about her despite her beauty.
"She's got quite the manners." One said and the other nodded. "Cute face.." they all looked to her then went back to their conversation in French.
A waiter, enthused that he would be receiving a group of high paying customers, approached the table, at first not taking notice of Hime.
"How may I serve you?" He said and went off listing the different dishes and wines. "And today of course we have a dish called-Oh god!" His eyes opened wide at the sight of Hime as if he expected her to breathe fire. He was the waiter from her first visit and recognized her as the temptress responsible for causing two men to fight over her just by looking at her.
"And to think she now landed a General." One waiter said and the bus boy next to him kicked him to make him shut up.
"An-And for you, mademoiselle?"
"Bring her your best chocolate." The waiter nodded and the men at the table looked at the general.
"So...you two met when now?" One asked and the other cleared his throat.
"I-I hear it was...so soon?"

Hime giggled and covered her face, " Filip helped me out when i lost something important to me... and i could not help my girlish heart.... i fell in love at first sight" she said looking at Filipe with adoration.

she sighed not once taking her eye's off him till she blushed heavily and then looked at the table, " i could not help asking him to marry me then and there... i about fainted with happy ness when he excepted me "

" right sugar bear " she giggled taking his hand and holding it. she was in the mind to push his buttons ... these were important people after all.... this had her giggling inside.

He had to admit it, despite her cute face, she was bugging him. What happened to the confidence she showed earlier. What was this persona she was playing now? She should be clever enough to know these men wouldn't take to this kind of banter. His eyes narrowed slightly but he didn't make a sound to stop her.
How would that sound to his superiors?
"Hah, so adorable." A woman cooed to the waiter who gave an awkward face similar to that of the men infront of Felipe and Hime.
The men were all thinking the same thing. How the hell did this happen?
"I'll be back in a moment." One of the men said, getting to his feet and passing by a group of onlooking waiters.
"Such promise as a leader." He whispered while the waiters nodded.
"Who'd have thought someone would actually win him over."
"Yeah so soon too."
"Must be love."
"Ah hell, she must be one hell of a business woman."
"Got him wrapped around her little finger."
Filipe frowned at the conversation they carried out in French and felt his irritation rise.
No he Was the one winning here. Right? He made this deal for his benefit. Right? No way had he gone soft. Right? He looked to Hime then ahead of him at the empty street now a bit tense.
'That's stupid. I'm the one in control here. Round her finger-feh-total bull. I won this.' He thought though he felt the unease creeping up in his stubborn self reassurance.

Hime giggled in delight when her chocolate came and took a bite as tears came to her eye's.

" no man can be as mean as i heard Filip to be and get a girl food this good " she whispered to the lady close by as she smiled to Hime.

Hime knew she had every one here at this table not only fooled but around her finger.

" ah, it chilly " she said shivering lightly as a breeze ran along the cafe.

seh looked up at Felipe weakly, " France is so different from Japan " she said looking a little lost.

she let her head cock to the side her eye's widening as her lip set in a pout," i still feel nervous... ah im still such a little girl arnt i " she said sadly.

despite her fear and caution Hime really was having fun... she just wished she had confidence like this when she was around Mateo... but that was over.

she was going finnish this finale act and then it would all end.

"Yeah you're adorable." Filipe said half frustrated. He wasn't good with romance and this new side of Hime was odd. What was her angle? He shifted slightly looking to her with slight curiousity.
"So, you two are getting the dress today right?" One of the superiors asked.
"Yes, she'll love the dresses made by my wife." The other next to him told her.
"Wonderful." Filipe said and smiled slightly. "Are you enjoying yourself Hime?" Kind of hinting at her behavior.

" ah... anything i can do with or for you makes me happy " she said winking at him and giggling.

she really was having him squirm in his seat at her actions

she turned to the superior and giggled, " i cant wait to see the dress.... i bet your wife has magic fingers " she said.

she sighed, " its all just so.... romantic " she said closing her eye's and leaning down on Filipe's shoulder.

This was a smart business venture, or at least Filipe hoped. She was talented with her acting but in a sense he couldn't help but wonder if her acting was a little too good. She had them completely won over by her. If he hadn't seen her display earlier he'd probably have been won over as well, or hand he already fallen down into something of her own design. After all he knew almost nothing about her, only the fact that she had a nice face and she could work people. He didn't question his powers of deduction or his knowledge for how to manipulate people. But Hime was a different kind of manipulative, able to appear completely innocent and naive to her abilities. How long would it be before he was like those other two she dropped in his office?
"Never." He huffed and one of the superiors blinked.
"Pardon, Filipe?" Fillip cleared his throat and tried for a smile.
"Ah, nothing, nothing worth concern at the moment."
An officer blinked then continued to talk to Hime about the different places she should visit around the port, those deemed acceptable by the rich. After a long while if talking and the men finally felt they had their fill of company they left leaving Hime and Filipe after the fake smiles and good days were exchanged.
"I never thought they'd leave." Filipe growled as he sat back down and rubbed his temple. He honestly never liked any of those men, would rather see the useless ones twenty feet under. But it wasn't his place to argue customs in the way of a marriage, a marriage that could prove both beneficial and deadly.
"You did well for yourself. It Was quite surprising actually." He said, looking over at Hime

Hime changed again to her cold self and smiled calmly at Filipe, " well as i see it, you can have a company backed by a good name but if others do not trust it then no good deals can be made. "

she relaxed and shrugged, " as i see it, if i look like your weakness then your enemy's will come to me first and show them selves "

she ran a finger down his arm" so those geezers think im cute and will make you soft, there fault for underestimating me "

she giggled then pleased at her self. " well should we get going and see what this women expects me to wear?" she said with a look of disgust on her face.

Filipe spared her a small smile. He was fond of Hime despite knowing she was in no way as easy as he once thought. She was so bad in a good way *lol*. "Sounds perfect." He said offering her a hand up. The people at the cafe watched the two with growing interest as they left. When the carriage arrived at the shop Filipe looked at the door then at Hime.
"Be prepared...she's quite a bit to handle." When they entered the shop he was completely cordial with the woman designing her gown though she fawned over the situation entirely too much.
"Ah such a lovely young face. So beautiful! You must have been such a catch with the men! Lucky you two found each other when you did. I thought Lord Filipe would be single forever. Ah the gown is goergious!!!! You'll love it! Or if you don't just tell me! Ah I have so many designs for you to look at, you're fit seems oddly like my daughters." The woman prattled walking Hime to the back leaving Filipe behind on a couch looking completely bored.
"But don't worry, short women always have beautiful children! Ah I love how doll like you are-Anyways the first dress is inside this room. Try it and see if you like it!" She shoved Hime inside the room. The dress on the hanging rack was a large dress full of unique designs and feathers that made it resemble that of a peacock as the train that fell to the floor. It wasn't hideous or that bad but it was a bit too flashy with the gold adorning the feathers and places on the dress.

Hime giggled and smiled at all the right places... her poker face was as strong as a glass mask...

and now she she let her face fall for just a second before taking the dress up and placing it on.

the dress did not swallowed her up like she thought it would... the gold set well with her hair.

but she looked too innocent... she looked like a child bride.... despite her 100 years.

she took a deep breath and ran out giggling and turning around," AH !PHIL look look! i look like an angle! " she simmered and grinned to the woman, " ah... you have such talent... you will have to make all my dresses for special occasions form now on!"
