Maid vs Host

Ryo paused, his breath pausing as his cheeks turned a slight shade of pink. “Super Ryo eh?” He muttered, noticing her sad look, before looking back up at her with a slight smile. “Only for you, Marii-chan.” He said in a joking way though he was perfectly serious. “Oh,” He said when he remembered she said something about being tired and got to his feet, “You can use my room.” He said and walked her to the back of the apartment. He opened the door to his room and blushed a little. It was a bit of a mess with papers scattered to one side near his desk, incomplete outlines and sketches off to the side on a desk and open books from studying the night for an entrance exam that was required for a college he was looking at within the city limits. However a few sketches were finished that sat on the table beside his bed double bed.They were that of buildings, architectural plans and finally a colored sketch f the city at night from a vantage point from the roof top of the apartment. “Sorry it’s kind of a mess but the beds comfortable.” He said and cleared his throat and took a step out of the room. “Well you’re welcome to anything here…” He turned to leave but paused leaning against the door frame. “And Marii-I..Good night.” He said and walked into the bathroom. He shook his head when he shut the door behind him and looked in the mirror at himself. “What the hell was that?” He muttered, not knowing why he could tell her he was glad to have her here, that she could stay as long as she wanted. Maybe it was because he wanted her to not be awkward with him. Or because he knew if she didn’t feel the same way, things would be fast and over between them. He pulled off his shirt and turned on the shower. He wouldn’t worry about this tonight. He had tomorrow to surprise her with a new apartment and he’d find out what she really felt.

hiko blinked and looked down at sayrui when she tightened her grip.

kim giggled "yeah im having alot of fun here. this is my first visit you kno! i may make it annual" she said and winked grabbing hikos other hand

hiko heard a girl screach from behind him and he turned letting go of both their hands bolting towards the noise. a man had ripped a purse from an middle aged womens arm and was running "help please someone! stop him!" she yelled and hiko took after the guy. following him into the alley he finally caught up with him jumping to grab oneo the guy tackling him face first into the ground. the guy spun around and as hiko grabbed teh purse he felt a sharp pain hit him in the stomach. the guy stabbed him right above the hip and red was slowly forming on his shirt. the man wriggled out from under hiko and took off. as he staggered his way out of the alley he smiled handing the woman her purse "there miss. sorry i let him go but... i got your bag" he said but his breath was strained and he was holding his side "OH you poor boy! SOMEONE CALL AN AMBULANCE!" she screamed as hiko fell to his knees and then face down on the pavement

((i know... dramatic. but its so late... and im so tired... its all i can think of to write XD sorry ive been gone. working on my junior paper all week :/ ))

Chi's heart beat was so loud yet... she was completely relaxed. when he said he loved her she turned red and smiled running her fingers through his hair "hiru...i..." she said but noticed he was drifting into sleep. she traced her fingers soothingly across his skin stopping every now and again to run her fingers through his soft hair. "you really know how to charm a girl huh?" she said with a soft sigh looking out across the water

Hiru blinked as he woke up again after a few minuts, “ ah… sorry. “ she smiled crookedly up at her loving how the light shun around her.
She looked like an angle, “ angel. ‘ he whispered out loud by accident. Sitting up he shook his head and cleared the fog that sleep had clouded his mind with.
He looked over the water and sighed, “ Chi… all of them… I want all of your first times. “ he said turning to her as he got fired up, “ I want to learn everything about you that a person could ever know about another. “
He took her hand and kissed her fingers, “ anything… and everything you want chi…. Just ask okay?”
He smiled and let his free hand caress her faces as he gazed at her before leaning in and kissing her firmly letting his hands pull her in against his body, “ anything” he breathed on her lips as he paused with out letting her go.

Marii couldn’t believe he was relinquishing his room to her. It made her heart pause as she tried to rap her mind around it.
As he stopped and leaned against the door frame she could only hold her breath, her heart beat the only sound in the room as she waited for his words…
“And Marii-I..Good night.” Ryo said before he walked into the bathroom. She opened her mouth to say something but closed it quickly.
She didn’t know if she would be able to sleep in his bed… his smell would keep her awake with unbelievable dreams.
He didn’t need some one like her after all… she was a burden, she was a trouble maker, and unlovable.
No one wanted her. Not her mother. No one, why should she make Ryo feel bad by burdening him with her feelings….
How did she come to this any way… he was a host, it was his job to make girls feel better, to feel good and loved. Ryo did his job well…
She shivered letting her arms wrap around her held in tears spilling down her cheeks as she keep her eye’s on the bathroom door, “ Ryo” she said sinking to the bed sitting down as if in shock or shame.
“ im sorry im such a bad girl Ryo… I wont… I wont do it again so please…. Please still be nice to me in the morning… please don’t push me away… I can… I can be content by just watching you from afar… Ryo… will you be my star?“
She smiled laying down over the blankets taking in a deep breath to try to calm her self as her breathing hitched.” I wish I may, I wish I might, Ryo I wish upon you tonight… please grant my wish , and I wish… that one day I can smile.. really smile with true happiness. “
Marii closed her eye’s and fell to sleep a sad look resting on her tied face as she went into a deep sleep.

chi's face couldnt have been a hotter shade of red from hiru's words. they were so ... forward. it was suprising and embarrasing but at the same time she loved it. the caressing the quilty pleasure behind each of his words. the inapproproate of the thoughts that raced through her head from his incinuated words made her almost want to giggle with embarrasment "nyu..." she mumbled under her breath. 'come on do something! jesus! dont sit there like an idiot!' she thought her mind racing but her body limp almost shaking with anticipation. she jumped forwward her arms around his neck kissing hiru passionately as they thudded to the bottom of the little row boat. after a few minutes she sat up fixing her hair and blinking her face red "yes well.." she said uncertain of what to say "indeed" was all she came up with looking at the shore because she was too embarrassed with her actions to look him in the eye

Hiru grinned at Chi’s forwardness in her virtual attack on him with her kiss. It was her first attempted kiss attack he had ever gotten form her… and by her red face the first she had ever attempted.
Propping him self on an elbow he couldn’t help his grinning. “ now… that is more like it “ he teased nudging her with his hand.

“ you are so cute Chi” he said looking up at her, “ well we did some thing I wanted to do… what do you want to do Chi just ask “ he said looking up at her expectantly.
Even if she just wanted to go buy candles for the shrine he would be able to buy her something…

chi tapped her lip and thought after giving him a hurmph face for his comment. "well... we could just walk around. i have never been here. id like to see the town" she said

OMG I have been so busy. Srry this is really late.)
Sayuri was startled when Hiko suddenly let go of her hand. However she wasn’t worried about her empty hand, she was more concerned as to why he let go of it. She turned and her blood ran cold as she watched him bolt into an alley a ways away leaving a lady stunned. “What-?” Someone ran over to the women and Sayuri heard her frantically shouting. “That man took my purse and this guy just went after him-!” She found herself hurrying back towards the woman but was a few steps away when Hiko staggered out and onto the pavement. “Hiko!” Her words caught as she rolled him over with some help of someone beside her and his head rested on her lap. He was bleeding at his side and a man standing next to her pulled her phone from her fumbling fingers and dialed the hospital. “Oh god Hiko.” She was shaking and didn’t know where to start with all the people staring at him and her. It seemed as if time passed quickly however when suddenly men in blue uniforms were not only examining his side but pulling him from her. “Wait-”
One looked back at her and narrowed his eyes. “Are you a relative?”
“N-Yes.” She said though it was obvious she wasn’t. He shrugged and continued helping Hiko to the ambulance.
“You can ride.” He barked when he saw she didn’t move and she hurried over to the ambulance.

Though he couldn’t hear her over the water, Ryo got the odd sense something was amiss with Marii. When Ryo got out of the shower his simply pulled on his boxers and jeans again, leaving the shirt in the hamper that was under the cabinet. He walked out of the bathroom with the towel around his neck, and turned down the crappy but still functional AC. He couldn’t help pausing to see if Marii was sleeping alright and found she was infact asleep. He couldn’t read her expression from the dark in his room but he did know she was going to get cold. He worked her under the covers and paused when her face caught a bit of light. She looked sad. He frowned. He hoped a new apartment would at least ease some of what she was going through. He couldn’t replace those paintings, Liviathane, or anything that fire had taken. He could only guess at what she must be feeling and try to help her. He went into the living room and flopped onto the couch, looking up at the ceiling. He found himself drifting off into sleep starting to wonder to himself about what Marii’s expression would be tomorrow when he was able to hand her the keys to a new, furnished apartment.

hiko could here and see everything but the shock of the sudden pain hit him and he was unable to move or speak. when he was put into the ambulance and sayuri disappeared from sight he tried to fight to sit up letting out groans of pain that where really screams in his head "s-s-" he mumbled as they tried pushing him down. when he saw her being pulled up he reached for her hand but saw blood on his hand and let it fall. "sayuri... nn... dont touch me... nnnnmmm... youll ... youll get blood... ugh... on your pretty clothes" he mumbled feeling dizzy and then let out a yell as they pushed down on his wound "it may have clipped his artery hes loosing alot of blood" one of the men said sticking needles into hikos arms and then an oxygen mask over his face "please try to relax sir" he said and hiko looked at sayuri. for the first time instead of confidence there was terror in his eyes "no no no!" he yelled and pushed the guy off him "if ima die ima die happy!" he yelled moving to sayuri putting his hands on either side of her face pulling her lips to his kissing her with all his being "sayuri i love you. im sorry. i love you i do i love you" he said to her over and over before the medic got a seditive and hiko went limp and they loaded him back onto the gurney. they applied pressure to hsi wound and hooked him up to a blood bag. when they reached the hospital they rushed him out and into the hospital sayuri being rushed off with him, finally they got to the surgery room and they pulled sayuri away from the nurses and doctors and hiko. "miss we're sorry but you cant go any further. we have to make sure that his artery wasnt severred or a piece of the knife didnt break off in his hip." the hefty elder nurse said putting her arms around sayuri "come on sweetie. ill help clean you up and we can set you up in his room so youll be the first to see him" she said walking with her. she helped clean the blood from hiko's hand off her face giving her a pair or jammy like scrubs to wear and put her in a two bedded room instructing that the one hiko would be in would be the one near the door and she could rest in the one near the window "if you need anything baby, you press that nurse button ill be in here in a flash alright sweetie?" she said after setting a cup of hot chocolate infront of sayuri. "hell be out in a few hours" she said with a smile before walking out of the door.

Sayuri listened to the nurse's steps echo down the halls and receded to curl up in a ball on the bed. She felt the quiet of the room starting to get to her as she kept seeing Hiko hit the ground and all the blood. She tensed slightly at the memory of hisblood ending up on her cheeks when he kissed her. What was suposed to make her grin like an idiot and her heart flutter made her feel like bursting into tears. She was scared and not thekind of scared that came with horror films, this was the real life after all and not hollywood. 'Hiko please, please...' A few hours? What was she going to do for a few hours without driving herself insane with worry? She picked up the hot chocolate and paced a little to keep herself busy. 'Oops Kim!' She realized and felt for her phone but remembered that stranger had used itand hadn't given it back. Kim would have to find her way back to the apartment, no matter how guilty that made Sayuri feel. The only thing she was really good for at the moment was watching the patients and nurses pass by the door and wait to see Hiko.

a few hours passed and hiko was wheeled into the room and put limply on the bed. they hooked up bags and him to the machines. after a few minutes on the drip his eyes fluttered open lazily "mr. akihiko? welcome back" the doctor said with a smile "gave us a little scare. dont worry son your gunna be just fine." he looked up at sayuri and walked over to her "you must be sayuri. his... wife? he wouldnt stop screaming about you when we took him into the operating room. we had to put him out pretty quick he took out one of the doctors trying to get up. anyway there was no blade tip in him, but he had lost alot of blood and he ripped a few mucles. if he limps for a few weeks itll be normal he justhas to heal. he should be walking around just fine in the next day or so. we did notice some neurological problems... looking over his charts i see he's bipolar.. well keep on his regular medicine for now. but we also found he has anemia. dont worry its probably just because of the blood hes lost. should go away by the time hes discharged" he said with a smile "hes a bit groggy but you can go say hello if you like" he said with a smile walking to the end of the bed setting the chart in the slot and walking out of the room

hiko let his head turn to the side to look at sayuri. although all he saw still was blurry colors "i think... i did something stupid" he mumbled.

Sayuri blinked when the doctor called her his wife but kept her mouth shut as he explained what to expect for the next few weeks. "Thank you." she said quietly as the doctor left and jumped slightly when Hiko spoke. "Stupid?" she walked over to the bed despite the fact she wanted the run and hug him and never let go. She sufficed, with his injury, to take his hand and took a seat on the edge of the bed. "It was brave...and stupid." she traced his palm, her eyes cast down on his hand as she sighed. "I really wish I knew what you were thinking..." her hand rested on his and her breath caught. "You scared me so bad, Hiko-kun." Despite her efforts to keep herself in check, she let a tear slip and it dripped on his knuckles. "Stupid Hiko-kun." she looked up at him smiling weakly. "I'm glad your alright."

hiko pulled her down so that they were both laying in bed and he pulled his arms around her "your warm" he said with a smile his eyes still rather lazily set "thats what i was thinking. you make me warm and you give me that warm feeling." he said with a smile pulling her closer to his chest his large arms craddling her "i didnt mean to be stupid. i have to remember that i have someone to look after now, and i cant pull stunts like that anymore" he took a deep breath loosening his grip and brushing hair out of her face "your so pretty" he mumbled "but i wish you would drop the kun... sayuri. i love you. and i told you i would wait for a lifetime for you to feel the same. and i still will. but do you think this first step you could take for me right now? just call me hiko? please" he smiled weakly his eyes closing. her heat felt so comforting and was starting to put him to sleep again

Sayuri’s smile fell in surprise when he pulled her down and into his arms. She was at first a little hesitant of his injury but the feeling of having him hold her made her relax. She nestled into his chest listening to his voice. All he wanted was for her to call him Hiko? She blushed at the fact he had to ask. “Alright, Hiko.”She said with a small smile. “But rest for now okay?” She breathed in and found even with all the hostpital sterilizing he still smelled the same. He was still same old Hiko, even with the anesthesia too. She smiled contently even as a sour thought crept in. She didn’t want him to ever end up back here like that even if she wasn’t here. This was already more than just a single step by informally using his name, it seemed like this lifetime he kept saying he was waiting for was coming at her a little faster than she thought possible.

Marri sleep well waking up warm and comfortable. She found her self under the blankets and stretched as she got out and sat on the bed thinking.
She had to do something to thank him for letting her stay the night and eat his food… what was left of the food in his irrigator no less…
She thought of what she could get for breakfast and decided to try and find a coffee shop near by.
Changing in to her dress and making the bed back up she quickly put on her shoes and grabbed her purse leaving quietly.
She made her way down to the street till she found a place and went in to order some coffee’s and muffins. She hoped he like blueberry…

He smiled and rowed back to the dock helping her off before leading her through the park and on to down town.
It was just a small shopping district. Fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, some trinkets and such. He liked this… just walking about with her. It was relaxing…
Hiru sighed and squeezed Chi’s hand slightly. “ hold on a second. “ he said as he went to a near by stall.
He quickly paid for something he had seen and walked back, “ close your eye’s” he said coming up behind her and placing a braded necklace around her neck.
“ this is yours… it has you name written all over it “ he said touching the small glass panda bear on it before telling her she could open her eye’s.

hiko had nodded off to sleep and woken up with a nurse was poking around his iv's and what not "oh good morning sleepy head" she smiled and walked out coming in with two trays of food for them both "rise and shine. if your good maybe we can get your out on an early discharge? no promises but lets hope hm?" she said and hiko nodded looking at the tray. he crinkled his nose and groaned looking down at sayuri curled up in his arms. he smiled and then felt a shooting pain as she shifted "um.. s-sayuri..." he whispered shaking her awake "i think your ripped my iv out" he whispered with a weak smile

Sayuri's eyes opened slightly. She heard him say something about an IV and sat up quickly, making her feela little light headed. "Oh-I'm sorry." She said worry in her expression. 'IV? I hope that isn't really important.' She thought, not really knowing what that was. She made it her buisness to stay away from hospitals and the dramas on tv they played were too gorey and reminded her of a horror movie instead of entertainment. "Ah-Maybe I can fix this." She looked around but didn't know where to start. She sighed, "I'm sorry Hiko-sa-Hiko." She blushed slightly and cleared her throat. "Um are you feeling any better?"

Ryo jumped when he heard a loud knock on the door and jumped awake. He tried to rub the sleep out of his eye with the back of his hand as he got to his feet and yawned. 'Who the hell would be knocking so loudly at his door this early in the morning?' He made his way to the door and opened it.
"Good Morning Ryo-kun!!" Miu shouted, pouncing on him in a hug that made him stagger back slightly.
"M-Miu-what are you doing here?!" He half choaked on his words as her grip around him tightened.
"I came to drop off the keys to that apartmentand to see you!!!" She said and Ryo frowned when he remembered Marii was in his room, sleeping in his bed right now.
"Ne?" She peeked around him and noticed the two bowls on the counter and raised her eyebrow. "Is your friend here?" She looked up at him with a coy smile. "I hope he's as cute as my Ryo-kun!"
'And Miu thinks Marii is a guy....oh shit.' He bit his lip, knowing he was in for it. When Miu walked in and found Marii, things would go down hill from there. She would revoke the deal with her father and Marii would never be allowed to stay in this apartment complex. Hell he was lucky if her father didn't throw him out too.
"Eh, thanks Miu-chan." He smiled at her and worked the key out of her hand. When he had the key he said quickly, "See you at work!" and kissed her forehead making her blush brightly. He tried to pry her off so he could shut the door but she snapped out of her daze and shook her head, only pushing back.
"Aw Ryo-kun you don't have to be so cold!" She whinned pushing into himand causing him to stumble back. The two hit the floor near the couch, Miu laying ontop of him with a bright blush but a huge smile. "Well well, this is more like it." She leaned in to kiss him and jerked his head to the side and she gave him an irritated frown.
"Get off me Miu!" He growled trying to get up but to squirm out from under her with all the noise she was making and without waking up Marii.
'Please let her be a heavy sleeper.' He prayed silently as Miu let out another loud giggle when he tried to push her off him.

"calm down sayuri-chan" he said with a smile sitting up and picking up the needle attached to the tube sliding it into his arm again. he set his arm on the bed "yeah i want to go home today. maybe if i complain enough they will let me eh?" he joked and picked up one of the trays moving it infront of her "breakfast" he said and took a bite of his toast he was so intent on chewing his toast 'jesus those stitches itch' he thought trying to block it from his mind "dear god" he mumbled "excuse me sayuri" he said groaning and getting up going into the small bathroom. he pulled up the hospital gown and looked at the stitches above his hip and huffed. they kept tickling his stomach and it itched horribly. he was getting angrier and angrier about it too. he came out of the bathroom taking his iv's out in a furious rage that had built up "fuck! cant find a curling iron anywhere! id rather burn this fucker shut then deal with this shit!!!" he roared walking out of his room "oh... mr. akihiko you really should be in bed sir and where are you - SIR!" the nurse argued as he stormed around the rooms looking for something that he could use to fix his problem "god damn it women stop fucking nagging me and get lost!" he yelled at the nurse who shrunk behind her clip board and went to call for assistance. turns out the nurse forgot to give him his medication for his bipolor disorder and he was in a fit of rage over something rather insignificant as an itch.

Marii paid for their food and started back. She had got a little lost in the hall before finding Ryo’s apartment but luckily she left the door unlocked so she could walk back in.
When she came upon his door she froze for a moment the door was wide open she had not left it that way… was Ryo in trouble….
She peeked around the door to see Ryo with a girl on top of him… he didn’t seem too delighted about it… but what did she know about how he like to be with girls…
She couldn’t help but whimper as she looked in on the scene, Marii kicked the door shut and put on her best fake smile. “ Ryo… when… you and your girl friend are done I got some breakfast. “ she announced placing it on the counter near the bowls.
She then took off down the hall locking her self in the bath room in shock. When tears started to fall from her eye’s she quickly turned on the shower so no one could hear her crying…” Ryo….why… why are you so nice. “

Sayuri felt her stomach drop when Hiko stormed out of the room and got up and hurried after him. He had just finished yelling at the nurse who scurried past Sayuri when she caught up with him. "Wait Hiko," she went to reach for his hand but her hand trembled. She didn't know how he'd act towards her in a rage like this, but she had to do something. If she really loved him she needed to. "Hiko," she caught his arm and tugged him back, not hard but enough to catch his attention. "What's wrong?" she asked, her voice quivering.

"Marii-!" His eyes widdened and he got up, knocking Miu onto the floor as she let out a yelp. He hurried into the back where he had heard the door shut and stopped at the bathroom door, raising a hand to knock on the door. "Marii I-it's not-" he paused and sighed when he heard the water running and pushed himself away from the door frame. He walked into his room and pulled on a shirt before walking back into the kitchen. He sat at the counter, trying to ignore Miu who was rifling through the bag Marii had brought. She looked up at Ryo her face twisted with hurt and rage.
"Who the he'll is Marii?" She asked and he shook his head.
"You saw her. She's the friend who needs the apartment." he sighed and she scoffed,
" 'Friend' my ass. Why is she staying in my boyfriends apartment?" Ryo gave Miu a pissed glare that shut her up instantly.
"Cut the crap Miu. She's a good friend of mine that so happens to be homeless at the moment." he snapped and wanted to add that he wasn't her boyfriend but her eyes had gone all misty with tears. 
"Ryo, I just-I saw the way she looked at you-and you are a-host-what if she stays here and something happens-"
Ryo shook his head. God she was so annoying but she sure as he'll could make a man feel guilty with those eyes of her's. "Miu, I promise you she isn't like that." he touched her cheek and she looked down. "She needs this apartment . Please Miu-chan?" She sighed and nodded before turning away to set a few plates out.
"Alright...only for you Ryo-kun." she said and Ryo smiled slightly.
"Thanks." he thought about Marii and found his eyes wandering to the hall. Was she okay? He wanted to see her, to tell her that the situation was wrong. That he didn't have feelings for Miu but for her. But would she listen?

hiko felt the hand on his arm tug and he turned around quickly to look at her face. his shoulders relaxed and his face turned form a scowl to an almost frown "im really uncomfortable and no one seems to understand. this is itching and hurts i just want it burned shut so i dont have to worry about it anymore" he said as if it all made sense to him somehow "i know. it sounds like im insane but if you felt what i was you would want it to stop as quickly as it possibly could" he said and sighed taking her hand "i got angry. sorry" he mumbled resting his head on her shoulder "you have a very calming presence you know that?" he said with a smile

Sayuri breathed a small sigh of relief and smiled weakly at him. "Really?" she hugged him back and felt an inner glee that she was able to calm him. Her eyebrows knitted together in sort of confusion as she pulled away to get a look at his face. "Burning? That sounds painful though." she said and suddenly she began to realize the eyes on them. She turned slightly and found a couple nurses standing a good distance behind them, one with a tranquilizer in one hand and medication in the other. "Um, Hiko," she began touching his cheek lightly, "They want to help but if you don't take your medication they could get in trouble. Can't have that can we?" she pulled away and took the mess and a glass of water from the startled nurses hands. She offered him them in full sincerity, not wanting to see him wrestled to ground by a group of adrenaline fueled nurses with a tranquilizer.

Marii got her self to were she thought she could face to two of them…
That and her stomach was growling something fierce.
She took a deep breath and turned the water off walking out pasting a calm face on to her own.
“ Ah… sorry about interrupting you Ryo…. That makes me a bad friend huh…. Sorry” she siad laughing nervously unable to look him in the eye.
She did notice his “ girlfriend” hand been through “their” breakfast. She smiled nervously, “ I didn’t know… you were coming miss… I didn’t get enough for three… “

hikos smile turned into a frown and he took the cup from her silently and popped them in his mouth swallowing without the water and walking back to the room. 'i thought i had done good... why did she make me do that?' he thought with his frown but seen started to feel calm and relaxed all over and he sighed 'i suppose.. this is the hiko she knows' he thought getting back into bed knowing he would be shot like a bear with a tranq if he didnt get back into bed

Sayuri felt her breath catch when he frowned and walked away from her. She was a little lost at why he looked so distant.
'Maybe it's just another mood swing?' she thought and looked down a bit. 
"thank you for helping. It's great he had someone that knows him so well here for him." A nurse said before walking into the room after Hiko.
Sayuri stood there for a moment gathering her thoughts as the guilt sunk in. With Hiko she never knew what she was going to get. But that was just it, maybe that was what always made her stop to question everything she was feeling. She had no idea, in all the changing, which Hiko was the whole. She saw pieces, some more enjoyable than others, but it made it so she didn't know him as well as people thought she did, or how much she wished she did.
. She walked to the door of Hiko's room and she leaned in the door frame as a nurse worried over him, giving him a light scolding for pulling out his IV's when he should have been resting, before hurrying out to fetch a few other things for the room.
"A bandage?" she thought aloud. She looked at him and shrugged slightly. "Do you think it might help with the stitches?"

Miu examined Marii for a second before she frowned but her expression was sincere. "No it's fine," she cleared her throat and glanced down at her hands, "I shouldn't have just shown up but I was excited to meet Ryo's friend." Ryo watched the scene playing out carefully and knew this was out of character for Miu but was happy to see she was at least trying to be nice. 
Miu looked up and offered Marii a small awkward wave. "It's Miu Adane. It's nice to meet you Marii-san." She walked towards the door and Ryo followed.
"I can't tell you, how grateful I am Miu-"
"Yeah yeah just surprise the girl for gods sake." She said rather loudly so Marii could hear before smiling coyly. "But you owe me tomorrow, Kay?" Ryo wanted to roll his eyes but only nodded briskly. After planting a quick kiss on his cheek she saw herself out and he made his way back to Marii.
"Sorry," he finally said after the silence seemed to drag on, "This isn't exactly how I expected the day to start." he said with a small frown. "Then again it's not everyday I have clients show up here." he sighed looking a little disappointed. "But looks like Miu screwed up the surprise." he was somewhat dabbling into his explibation that miu was just a client without outright saying it. 

hiko smiled at sayuri even though he still felt a little hurt "no sayuri-chan its ok it doesnt really bother me anymore" he lied and looked at her tray with the food "oh.. arent you hungry? you didnt really touch your breakfast much. you should eat or your going to get sick." he said and took a deep breath "i cant wait to go home" he mumbled staring at the pulse monitor on his finger.
