As for Desperado, seems more feral a style for chaos...
The Amano design is really close to 12's design, and the ex modes are what I'd like to see.

yes the new dissidia is coming out *notices its a l8 reply* and kain is one 100% gonna be there and so is lightning there is also going 2 be a new costume for cloud (the KH 1 which u need KH: BBS ummm remix) and a alternate costume for lightning which is the girl out of parasite eve for the PSP (u also need 2 own this game) ive even heard rumors of Yuna and laguna also appering as characters

Cloud isn't the only one getting a extra DLC costume. Squall is getting a Kingdom Hearts one and Lighting gets an Aya costume.

and the reason for Aerith was, because according to Enix.

just cause u don't like it nemo doesn't mean its worthless...a shit ton of people will but the DLC costumes. There isn't much that they can do for dissidia other than that.

characters rather than costumes would be a better choice imo, but hey some ppl love having all of those different outfits, maybe it makes them feel like their playing with a barbie

Hate to burst your bubble Nemo, but according to FF Wiki's Dissidia 012 page

"A free DLC version costume for Warrior of Light minus his helmet costume is available in the Playstation Store for download"

Aerith may be in some other way...

It seems as if (from what all I've seen of gameplay) the story is nearly the opposite of the first. The game alternates through characters to advance the plot, none of the whole paralleling stuff, and as far as I can interpret, the new characters' personalities are spot on, Lightning is cold yet valiant, Laguna is Jovial and mellow, Yuna is still modest but it seems the shyness is a bit scaled back, Tifa is Cheery and Light hearted, and Kain is brooding and serious (but not mopey). One thing I noticed is that Vaan however, seems to be "actually" acting like a main character now while retaining his carefree personality.

Also from what I've seen, Kefka acts the same as the original, but its played to the part of sarcasm and cold hearted nihilism, Friedrich Nietzsche would be both proud and disturbed. He's still comical like a clown with his movements, but his JP dialouge is cutting...
