I just finished the dlc and thought it was good, bc it gives us some more insight into the story. I didn't see her turning all reaper possessed, but that should have been expected. I shot her instantly lol. The single player missions took a lot more patience and cover shooting, that's for sure, but all in all I thought the dlc was worth it. Up until Hackett told me I needed to go to Earth to answer for the batarian deaths, I was like fuck that, they can suck it

It was fun for sure! Yeah, cover was my friend since I was missin Tali with her: "Go for the Optics!" antics!

Stealth rescue was quite easier than I thought, however that survive the wave of before being knocked out by the godamn Reapers was hard. Gotta admit, I had to turn down the difficulty from insanity to hardcore on that one to get the trophy.

According to Wiki, Tali is a squad mate for Mass Effect 3. BOO YA!!!

ya, also heard Mordin confirmed, and a few others, Ashley/Kaiden....and cameos from a lot including Jack who I guess is supposed to have grown some hair...I think if all of your squadmates lived, they should all help you but whatev I guess they don't care about saving the universe lol

LOL. The only one I don't see coming back is Legion. But... still.

Well they mentioned in the Game Informer that had Mass Effect 3 as the cover that they thought having 12 in Mass Effect 2 was a little too much. Frankly I didn't use all 12 but I liked having that many extra loyaltly side quests. I think you mentioned this a few posts back that it was one of the fun and original quests you had to do in ME 2. So at any given rate I think the more the merrier.

And yes it was also mentioned that if Ashley or Kaiden lived after the events of ME 1, then they would be in the party. I wonder about Wrex.

I have heard rumors of Wrex being a party member, but those are just rumors, lets hope Garrus is still a member, since he is a badass

If they are putting Tali, Liara, Ashley/Kaiden back as a 'permanent' squad member {don't quote me on the permanent part btw}, Then I'm sure Garrus will be in it. Although I also read either in Game Informer, Wiki, or somewhere in the net that certain former squad members will be in for a mission or two then leave.

Shit. As much as I like Grunt, I like Wrex better.

I can see them putting Wrex as a few mission squad member. Liara will probably a permanent one, and I hope to hell that Garrus is a permanent one because, hell, him and Tali have been a member since ME 1. There has to be a few originals aside from Shepard to stick it out to the bitter end.

So out of all the new members in ME 2 {including the 2 secret characters or DLC characters. On a side note, funny how secret characters can be bought these days unlike in the days of FFVII where you had to find them and fulfill certain deeds to gain them in your party. lol. NOw you buy them with REAL money. lol ahem... I side tracked}, who do you think has more of a chance to become an NPC or a temporary squad member?

idk about liara, that all depends on your choices in LotSB... I don't think she will be a squaddie for me bc she is the shadow broker now...who nows if Thane will live much longer....so that's a question....Jack may have her own motives, as well as Samara. I think Mordin will stick it out, and probably the black guy (forgot his name atm), Ash is back...hopefully Wrex is back, idk about Grunt...I need Legion to stay bc then I could have an army of geth with me....Miranda will stay...Garrus...., I think Tali could go either way depending on your romance with her...who am I missing?

According to game informer{i believe} Liara is a returning character. Now what's her role? I agree with you. It has to be factored in by the player's choice in Shadow Broker's mission. I would rather have Samara than Liara, however if I think the Asaris should be played exactly how the cut scenes portrayed them, mostly keen in biotics and I would like to see them use more biotics than guns in missions.

Thane may be dead. So yeah. Jack could be a space pirate now! One can wonder if a player chooses the rode of a Paragon, will she be against the player in ME3? I like Mordin, I hope he stays. I have every speculation he will since he was a HUGE role in ME2. I would really cringe at the thought of him being only an NPC. That's just me though.

Ash/Kaiden will for sure depend on player's actions on ME1 and 2. I could care less about him or her. The black guy is Jacob, I think I could go on the game without him. Wrex may be too busy still as leader of the Krogans, however I can't help but feel that Grunt may have something in him that might make him defect from his 'father's' gene pool. I don't know.

As cool as Legion is, he bugs me. I am still sour about the geth's part in ME1 so I took out the 'heretics' in one game, kept them in another. I don't know. Now Tali, I need her in my team. She is a very colorful character and she is every bit of an interesting squad mate and a character that making her only NPC would be a bummer. Good thing she is confirmed to be a mate, as for permanent? I think I'd have to go with you on that one about the romance and choices deal.

There are also the DLC characters like the mercenary {forgot his name} and the thief Kasumi. I think their worthwhile depends on the loyalty mission.

So.... that's my opinion. Seen the videos on the gameplay on E3, Zack? and call me a sucker, I pre-ordered for the Collector's. It's pricey, but I have til March to pay it off and it is the last of the franchise. I wanna go out with a bang. lol.

^ I'm sorry to dissapoint you but Bioware has confirm that there's gonna be more Mass Effect games in the future ME 3 is just gonna be the end of Shepard's story.

ya, there will be more games, but this is the end of a major trilogy...but then who knows bioware might go all microsoft on us and make a ME4 two yrs later.

Ya, I saw all of the E3 stuff for ME3. Of course I'm getting collector's edition, no questions asked. I don't really care about the Kinect compatability, big deal, but it was nice to see Garrus and Mordin again.

I don't know what the collectors edition is gonna offer but I don't think that l'll be getting it...on top of that I still haven't played any of the DLC packs for ME 2 so yeah.

Rumors of a four player multiplayer that resembles Gears of War's horde mode floating about.

Don't know how I feel about that, but the rumors also states that if that is true it has nothing and it won't take away from the campaign.
