For anyone who hasn't heard, Ubisoft signed a deal to make DLC for XIII-2 to have the hero dressed as Ezio from Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood(?). Could be unlockable, but DLC is all the rage. Here's a pic.

I know it's kinda late but I preordered the collectors edition as welll a few days ago.

Skipping this since I hated what I played of XIII. FF can't excite me anymore. It's gotten way too heavy with anime elements. Yeah, nearly all the FF's have a japenese style to them but XIII went overboard and made it's way into DBZ territory. But to each his own, I would like to know about the soundtrack if they improved it or just rehashed it.

I haven't pre-ordered yet, when is the release date again?

Maybe it's because I never watched or read it ? FF isn't what it used to be, but I'm still very excited to get the game. I just have to search for the end of XIII on youtube, because I couldn't defeat the last boss and I lost my copy D: ( sooooo typical, haha)

I wanna see Snow whoop Noel's ass. I would pay another 40 bucks just to see him do that.

You can say that about all of FF now, BU-ZING. Anyway, I watched the gametrailers review for XIII-2, listened to the horrible voice work and whatever the fuck that story is and... it just looks like a pile of shit. Like, really fucking awful. The story makes no god damned sense, even for an FF game, and the newest character is super unlikeable. But Gametrailers was saying it was better than XIII. I lol'd. Plus, it's only like a 20 hour game. Yeah, with a game I don't want it to be longer than 15 hours but when it comes to an RPG, I want to be taken to a fantasy world and experience the good writing and the beauty the developers put into the game. If an RPG is REALLY fucking good, then you'll never notice how much time you put into it.

Man, I think western RPG's have been spoiling me because Mass Effect has like brainwashed me into no longer being able to handle the JRPG shit. Dammit, moving this to the opinions thread.

it was released today in the UK so i had to buy it, i even traded in 5 games to reduce the cost (I HATE TRADING IN GAMES!... I NEVER DO IT UNLESS I HATE THE GAME OR ITS JUST TOO EASY!)

haven't played it yet on account that i haven't gone back home yet (still gotta go shopping >_<)

i've liked almost every RPG i've played so i'm pretty sure this one won't be any difference lol

I played it for the first time today and really...
...Snow is an ugly cat O.o

Anyway, so far I don't really like the story (too cliché, not really FF-like and it reminds me too much of the Zanarkand stuff) and the voice in the music réally annoys me. I don't see why they're making a pop album with a game on it o.o

But I'm only at the beginning and I guess I'll get used to it. I don't think Noel is too bad (I'm just wondering what happened with Vanille and Fang ?)
