Re: Skyrim
Ps3 gets some sort of attention. Got the 1.7/1.6 patch for Skyrim! While the ability to fight while mounted on Shadowmane isn't exactly the most eloquent way of going about the Nord's land, it is a good addition.
Now... godamnit! Dawnguard!!!

Re: Skyrim
^That I do not have the slightest idea about. However this is the most current patch of Skyrim:
Skyrim ps3 patch
I can only discern that previous patches may have addressed the issue you are running in to... but who knows. Bethesda is infamous for its bugs and glitches. Though their games are prominent in gameplay and mindless hours of 'in game role playing', they can never lay their stigmata to rest.

Re: Skyrim
Nix the Oghma Infinium patch theory. Just did it, and now I'm kicking ass. Trying to find Daedra Hearts so I can actually have a badass set of Daedric Armor.
Re: Skyrim
^In my Solitude mansion, I have 3 sets of those vile things; one set is adorning my statue while the other two lay dormant at a chest. I have no idea why, as impressive as they look, they don't really impress me as much as the ebony armor. I have renamed, upgraded them to the max, and put 2 enchantments on all 3, but they still accumulate cobwebs... Ones I find from mercenaries or bandits I sell.
Still hoping that Dawnguard have more armors that will impress me more.

Re: Skyrim
The Daedric Armor starts with a better Armor Rating than Dragon Armor. At least it starts that way.
Re: Skyrim
^While you are correct in regards to the statistics, the default armor stats never had a factor for me since my enchantment, smithing, and heavy armor are all 100. I use armors based on my character/s aesthetics and personality. While personality, I think the daedric armor does have a vehement aura of evil and demonology, it doesn't adhere to any of my 3 characters, does why it's more of a decoration object rather than a useful apparel in all my games.
The daedric armor in Oblivion concurs with my character's personality and visage more, thus why it adorned him more than it did in Oblivion.

Re: Skyrim
I see what you mean, I'm not partial to the aesthetics of the Daedric Armor, either, and it doesn't match my character's visage or anything. But, they don't have a butterfly designed pink flower armor, so I have to make do with what's best in combat.
Re: Skyrim
^I can concur with that... not at the whole idea of the pink flowered armor or anything of the sort... just at the mere notion that sometimes these games, as grand as their customizing options may be don't exactly adhere to the aesthetics we are sreaching for. lol.
Or am I echoing my previous statement that you merely reinforced? lol.

LOL
Well.... This comes to me as a bit of kick in the groin: Not for PS3???
I can't exactly express the inextricable grief this brings to my gaming career.... Someone fetch me a dagger so I may inflict wounds upon my very flesh.
Or maybe I'll just grab my copy of Mass Effect 2 and play for a while and then on to other games. But putting all joking aside, it kind of sucks, but I am a gamer of many taste so there is always one around the corner for me.
EDIT: Funny. I was just posting mine when Phoenix posted before me. Here are some reading for those who still adhere to an archaic way of getting news.

Re: Skyrim
As much as I would like to take a jab at ps3 owners here, I won't, I feel bad for you, it is stupid that this dlc isn't multiplatform when the game itself is.

Re: Skyrim
I'm sure there are other ps3 owners who would flare up at a slight jab at this notion. While I'm not too happy, I don't think I'll get TOO sad about it; I am after all still busy with a lot of different games.
But it's not a complete lost YET. There's still hope, for now.

Re: Skyrim
Give Bethesda some credit, at least they're still trying and didn't flat out give up. They made a promise to everyone that Dawnguard would be out and they're trying their damnedest to ensure it. Upsetting if it doesn't turn out to be possible, but like Erel said, I have other things to keep me busy.
The hell am I talking about, I still haven't completed the story missions yet. lol

Re: Skyrim
If you're talking about Dawnguard then he must of played it on PC or 360 if not then he's just lying

Re: Skyrim
I'm actually finally liking this game :') In the beginning it was very boring, but now it's much more fun.
Okay, I still think the elves are ugly and the people are unnatural, but at least the horses are better than in AC, haha.

Re: Skyrim
Dragonborn, Dawnguard, and Hearthfire. Dawnguard is my main favorite.
Having these DLCs revitalized my gaming time for Skyrim. Though I must admit, the armorthat are given doesn't do anything for me. Still with the Ebony apparel(With Ebony Mail that was given by one of the daedric gods!) with the Masque of Clavicus Vile. Using a crossbow now though instead of a bow and arrow; Auriel's bow did nothing for me as well; maybe for my archer/thief Khajiit in my other game.
Having to summon Arvak is a good plus that came from Dawnguard as well along with the Vampire Lord skill. Haven't tried out the Lycan tree yet.
Dragonborn did come with a few perks that was helpful. Being able to reset some perk tree was great. It deters some long-ago-mistakes I had made distributing perk points. Though riding the dragons is a joke.... Anyways.... I have yet to fully delve into Hearthfire. Suppose I'll do so here and there.

Re: Skyrim
I'm just having a tiny problem at the moment..
My character turned into a vampire (when I realised it, it was too late and 'cure disease' potions didn't help) and I absolutely don't want that, haha.
Is there a way to cure her ?

Re: Skyrim
Nah, once you're a vampire you can't be a werewolf unless cured. Have you tried using a temple? Like a Temple of Talos or something?
