Re: Skyrim
I have 2 characters in this game (well three, but I only wanted to use the Khajiit assassin/thief to get trophies) and I think the two can play both sides. Dark Elf = the Badass vampire lord guy, while my female Breton can be the Dawnguard; vampire slayer.

Re: Skyrim
Hey Zack, I believe you 360 peeps will be getting Dawnguard this Tuesday. Will you be DL'ing it as soon as it comes out? Please give me details on what you think; maybe a review if you have sufficient time when you beat it (that is adhering to the idea that you beat it before it comes out in ps3). I could care less about spoilers, but regardless, I'm interested at what Dawnguard's new abilities, weapons, scenery, etc. etc. has to offer.

Re: Skyrim
Will do, I actually went pretty slow during Skyrim, but now that I'm on Summer break, I should be able to put in a lot of time...I'm also looking to buy a new vehicle soon, can't wait.

Yeah that's right, your area of career, summer is an actual break for you, so yeah, I'm sure you'll have plenty of time to rummage through some old games (Skyrim included) as well as other games that might be in your radar that had come out before or is coming out.
What a coincedence, I'm getting a 'new used' car myself. LOL.

I accidentally killed shadowmere after 10 minutes lol. And I thought he couldn't die. Oh well. Hey Nissan Muranos are pretty sweet tho, I was looking at them for a while. Honda Accord seems like a downgrade in size, but it is pretty roomy for a car

Re: Skyrim
^LOL. He can't. But he will revive where you kill him after a few days. That is assuming you remember where the immortal Horse was killed. lol
Yeah, I love my Murano. Damn thing is due for a 90000 miles tune up though... in regards to the Accord, yeah I love honda because for the most part the company (and Toyota) has taken good care of me and my family. And since our other car is a freakin hyundai accent (a graduation gift from my parents way back when... lol), an Accord is a for sure upgrade in every aspect. Especially the one we are looking at.

Re: Skyrim
lol, never even heard of a hyundai accent. My wife wants to get an Elantra, she has a pontiac g6 right now. I think I will make a post your ride thread once I get my new suv. I have a neon right now. Necessity for commuting to college unfortunately. As for Skyrim, I will delving into the dlc after I finish ME3 dlc since it's free.

Re: Skyrim
How are the varieties of Armor? I read about the vampire armor, does it fit the 'name' as a Vampire armor and makes the character look like a vampire warrior?
Dawnguard armor? Other new armors variety?
Weapons? How are the variety of weapons and their stats? Contrast to Ebony weapons? Or how do they compare to the more powerful artifacts of the Daedrics?
How's the length?

Re: Skyrim
I didn't care too much to look into the armor/ weapons. but the vampire armor is cool, nothing spectacular as far as stats, the there are a couple snow elves in the dawnguard dlc, and their armor is pretty kickass. I use a heavy armor set, so I am still using my dragon bone armor. Weapons to note--Lord Harkon's sword is cool, and Auriel's Bow is awesome. You don't have to use weapons much is you don't want to tho bc you can use your variety of vampire or werewolf skills, which do the trick.
Length is good--probably at least 10 hrs, maybe a bit more if you take your time and do some of the associated side quests.

Re: Skyrim
I just started playing this again, this time starting a new game cause I made the mistake of naming my character after an ex girlfriend. -_-
Anyway, I picked a wood elf this time and HOLY SHIT, the bitch is fast. xD Started rushing through quests like Speedy Gonhoppus on crack.

Re: Skyrim
I thought you didn't care for open world games, so what do you think of Skyrim thus far?

Re: Skyrim
@Zack: I figured I'll be dropping a lot of my weapons off to my mansion in Solitude for safe keeping since I'll be morphing into a vampire a lot more (or a wolf for my khajiit character). However when playing my Dawnguard intended character, I will be leaning heavily on that part.
10 hours? Not bad for the $20 I'll be paying for it. I take it I can get around 30 plus on it with 3 characters and I like to take my sweet time on games like Skyrim.

Re: Skyrim
ya, and the new areas of the game are beautifully rendered, it is nice to see some new environments in the game. That is one thing I love about Skyrim--each part of the world is unique in its own right

I don't, that's why I thank god that it has a point and click map system. That game is fun, but it still has those elements I hate in games, such as destiny-changing decisions and character customization, but at least it has fun glitches to exploit.
Re: Skyrim
The saddest news... still no word for ps3 and PC gamers in regards to Dawnguard.
My patience is thin in regards to this said DLC, however I am preoccupied with a few other games.
