And I can't get it till sometime in 2012, seeing as I have to get a job, pay off my parents for things and then buy a PS3 and then save up for FFXIII. >_> Life is hell.

I saved some money for it and I'm waiting for the collector's edition too <3 (it would be my first "collector"-one )

This game just looks like a clusterfuck of story and gameplay. If I want to play a hack and slash, I'll play a hack and slash not FF on the same crack DBZ did.

Only one character impresses me and it's the Dragoon Woman, everyone else is bla. The Cid in this game looks like an Asian business man wearing a cape (But his airship is called the Lindblum! FF9 whut-whut) but he's going to be evil like in FF12. Then what is with the one bad guy who looks like Akuma from Street Fighter? He looks absolutely ridiculous in every way and really stands out in a crowd and that's saying something from a FF game.

As for story, we'll find out, but it looks interesting. It seems like every other Final Fantasy story after um... IV {the oldest FF I have every played}. From FFIV to FFXII all FF's have the same skeleton for the story. Some evil empire, some Main character in a rebel like faction, A love story, a greater evil behind the empire..... etc. etc. etc.

I know FF has done the same song and dance since FF1, but that still doesn't change the fact that I am not appealed to it. I say to them nice to know they are changing things up but I'm not interested in FF13 from all the trailers and hype behind it. Even that first teaser trailer released years ago did nothing for me. I do admit, I cannot give a real answer to what I think of the game from the trailers alone and I need to play it for myself to give a real input but that still doesn't change the fact that I'm not interested in playing it.

Heard that the leveling up system is going to be the same as FFXII was anyway, so that's not all that bad.
