Maid vs Host

"customers? hm... they are all the same to me. their faces just kinda blurr like someone u pass in the street" he said and took a sip of the tea again smiling at her

"you on the other hand..." he said smiling at her before setting his cup and looking her dead in the eye " theres always something different about the one you love." he said nonchalantly taking another sip of tea

" right " said Hiru smiling absentmindedly as they parted to get back to there jobs.

he walked in the door smiling before getting ambushed by a regular " Hiru! is it true... i saw her that girl~! you have a little SISTER! that is SO CUTE! you should bring your little sister to work one day it woudl be great!!" she gushed at him hanging off his arm.

Hiru would turn down her service but she was his best tiper.... but god could she talk...

" i woudlnt bring Chi to a place like this " he said as the girl pouted.

Sensei.... Marii liked the sound of that. " yeah? well... any time you are free... just ask.. if i dont have class... we can definetly get to gether and talk art."

Marii bluhsed thinking about her work... would Ryo like it?

(forwardness is an understatement. But its just so adorable! Oh dear god not fangirl syndrome!)
Was it possible for someone to completely freeze in place and not even be able to register what was just thrown in their face? Well, Sayuri had it and couldn't stop staring like an idiot. She blinked, now no longer doe eyed, and let out a nervous laugh. "Haha, funny too." She said even though her face felt warmer and she hardly knew what to do with him. 'Should I leave. Should I say something back? Am I suposed to?' Decisions decisions decisions and they all ended with her uselessly silent and watching him smile. 'Might as well take a wild crack at it.'
"You're right." She said taking another sip of tea trying to be as nonchallant as him. That seemed to be the way this conversation was working. "That person is different but love is a strong adjective. Like with any adjective you have to know a little more about who your using it to describe." She blushed. 'Oh dear god now I'm giving him a grammer lesson?!'
"Ah, sorry, my mom's an English/Grammer teacher." She said wishing she could hide her face in embarrassment.

"Sounds cool to me." Ryo said and shok his head. "Not just about art. We can also just hang out sometime too." He said this easily but mentally he was completely confused as to why he would say something like that. He helped the girl once and was now going to take art lessons from her. She'd seen his work...called it good but not great. He was a bit embarrassed about that. Interesting sure, but what else about her was he so interested to know? He couldn't quite put his finger on it so he brushed off the thought. "That is if you want to, of course."

Marii smiled it had been a long time since she had been asked to hang out... she didnt even hang out with people form work...

" well... i have the day off for the festval at the local shrine... i wanted to go this year... if you want we can go together ? " she asked unsure..

every year she took the day off to go to the festavle... and every year she dosnt go... she cant go she is afraid to go alown... having been left at one by her step father when she was five... she had spent the night at the shrine in her home town till he came to get her in teh morning...

he smiled "i know exactly what love means. the grammatical version aswell. it was used correctly in a sentence when i said it" he said smiling "i love you, sayuri-chan" he said looking her dead in the eye " ever since i met you.." he said forgetting to finish his sentence, he probably did in throught but was so wrapped up in looking at her he forgot to voice it "well sayuri-chan... my break is over now" he said getting up walking over next to her and pulling her to a standing position wrapping his arms around her in a warm hug "ill be waiting for you after work" he said and pushing a strand of hair behind her ear, " its alright if you dont share my feelings right now... just let me love you for the time being" he ran the same fingers down her cheek to her chin tilting it to kiss her cheek " good bye" he whispered softly before letting go grabbing his jacket and walking out the door back to the host club

chi watched as hiko walked out of the cafe and she walked over to sayuri "are you ok sayuri-chan... you look like youve seen a ghost..." she said holding onto her friends arm

Sayuri stared off into space but the feeling of Chi's touch brought her back. "Ah yeah, I'm fine..." she wanted to sound convincing but she was a bit too stunned by the whole situation to. How was she suposed to react to that? Hiko just confessed to her only after less than a day of knowing her. Oh boy...."Ah it's just another customer." She said but it was far off from just a normal lunch with anyone. "Well, did you have a good break?" She asked picking up the plate and smiled. she just wouldn't think about it now...she had work to do. "I know you have to be stressed with preparing for the festival coming up."

Ryo remembered the festival and nodded. "Oh yeah I almost forgot about that." he said. He'd always been forced to take Sayuri when they were younger. Now that he didn't have a 13 year old girl hanging off of him he could probably enjoy it. Besides, he'd have a chance to be around Marii some more. "Sure. I'm pretty sure I have the day of the festival off." He blinked noticing the time and got to his feet. "Ah, the manager is going to kill me if He found out I left the new guys in charge." he gave her an apologetic smile. "thanks again. I hope I see ya around." he said before getting to his feet and walked back to the host club. 'I hope I see ya around? Smooth...really smooth Ryo.'

Marii smiled, " yeah" 'se ya around' seh shook her head and got back to paper work...

she had to have this done intime to do inventory tonight...

getting up and going to the frount she smiled seeing Sayuri, " Yuri~chan i have your phone in the office thanks for letting me use it. "

other then the invoices she would been done a little latter then the other girls got off...

Hiru

Sayuri smiled at Marii slyly. "Of course Marii, anything to help." She said then gave a small sigh. She just wishd someone would send her the magic help to know what to do about Hiko. "You know what, I say we forget all the stress and go do something. Just us girls for once!" She said not taking time to think maybe they didn't have anything stressing them. Sayuri could be a little vapid at times. 'But I'm meeting Hiko after...WAH! why do I care? it's not like I know the guy that well...'
"Not today though. Maybe soon!" She said and walked into the office to get her phone. She noticed the paper work when she reached for her phone and frowned slightly. "Do you need help with all of this?" She asked trying to read the paper but got confused by all the numbers on the income and tax sheets that needed to be filed.

" thanks... but ill be okay. " Marii said looking at her confused expretion.... she couldnt chance the papers being put intl the system wrong.

" i can handle it. as for girls night... sure if... damn... i dont think i can aford anything to big though... " she said thinking of her horibly tight buget... was there any wiggle room...

Marii sighed, " go head and finish up and you girl can go home kay " she said smiling at Sayuri happly.

chi smiled and nodded "yeah but im very excited for the festival too. you'll be sure to come next saturday right? i invited everyone from here and told Hiru-kun to invite the people from his work too! i love when lots of people come" she said smiling brightly

Hiko smiled thinking about sayruri as he stared at the girl chattering up infront of him.

Sayuri gave Marii an apolegetic look before she looked back at Chi. Sayuri smiled at her excitement. She was excited too. "I wouldn't miss one of your festivals. The festivals at your family's shrine are amazing every year." She rememebered how much fun she had at the the last one and gave a small shrug. "Hiru-kun?" Sayuri blinked then smiled crookedly. "Who's that Chi?"

she blinked and shook her head "n-no one just someone who's helping with the shrine this year" she said laughing nervously before hurrying to her next customer

the day seemed to zip by when it got busy and soon it was closing time. she huffed pulling her coat on and stepping outside completely exhausted. she looked across the street to see they where still closing up a little. she walekd across the street lazily just as hiko was walking out "oy... allo hiko-sama" she mumbled through tired eyes and he smiled running up to her picking her up and swinging her around

"and hello to you chi-chan!!!" he said excitedly setting her back down and walking across the street

'weird one he is ...' she thought and yawned opening the door coming in and looking around. Hiru was still cleaning up his section. she sat down in the waiting section and ended up falling asleep

Hiko opened the door and smiled looking at sayuri "sayuri-chan. are you ready to go?" he asked

Sayuri felt her hands tighten on her phone as she walked out of the staff room to find Hiko there. She'd just changed to go home. "Right on time..." She said draping her uniform over her arm and sighed. "Alright, lets get going before Marii decides she needs me to help her with the bills."She said, dreading numbers as much as she did scary movies. "Marii I'm leaving the keys by the register!" She called into the back before walking out with Hiko. She was silent for a bit, trying to figure out what to say.
'Well, I have to say something...' she looked at the side walk in thought when they reached the crosss walk then looked up at him. "So, did work go well?"

Hiru finished and turned to find chi sleeping in teh waiting area...

she looked so sweet... Hiru picked her up and carried her, his things and hers back up to the shrine and put her to bed...

then he tought for a second... that person.. might need something... if he hadnt drunken him self into a coma...

going down the hall Hiru knocked lightly on the door, " sir... do you need anything before i go to bed?"

Marii wasnt paying atention to the time till she finished all the invoices... she looked up gasping ...

she had done to much... she got lost in the numbers... she did all of them... not just that nights... but the manager had let them pile up...

Marii sighed... she new it was late... too late to just leave but what else was she to do... sleep there?

she sighed... well she lived in the worsed naborhood already .. what coudl happen to her...

she sighed a little nervous as she got up turning off the lights and locking doors as she went before leaving the shop and locking the last door looking about nervously...

it was only a ten minut walk afterall.... nothing can happen in ten min... she worked up her nerves to walk and started off.

"mhm. busy tho." hiko said loosely setting his arm just above her hip holding her other hip almost against his as they walked out of the cafe. after a few minutes of walking he smiled at her "Sayuri-chan... i wanted to know if you wanted to go on a date with me tomorro" he asked smiling "ill pick you up around 1 ok?" he more or less asking at this point "and dont worry about bringing anything, and dont ask where we are going. its a suprise." he said and looked towards her door pulling his hand to grab hers "goodnight, sayuri-chan. ill hope to hear from you" he said and gently patted her side coat pocket. very sneakily he had slipped his cell phone number and a little note into her coat. he lightly tilted her head with his fingers kissing her forehead before walking back down the street towards his own apartment

The old man let out a grunt and some russling noises before opening the door and eyeing Hiru-san "eeeh..." he grumbled in an angry tone "no!" he yelled then slammed the door shut getting back into his bed

chi was sound asleep as he carried her home and even when he putt her to bed. she did wake up a few minutes later tho opening her door and standing int he hall the sleeve of her uniform pulled off her shoulder and one shoe on with one staking off and one on she yawned still basically asleep "hiru...-kun..." she mumbled her eyes closed and her conciousness basically gone

Hiru came half grumbling at the old mans rudness... at his home.. no one would disrespect him.. he was Hiruichi~sama to every else...

but then again.. here in this shrin... this little place on the train rout... he was just Hiru kun...

he looked up to see Chi indesposed... one sholder showing and half her clothing trying to run away...

he blushed slightly seeing her so exposed... " Chi? " he asked caustious...

he didnt want to startal her... she seemed... alseep still, " chi... go back to bed do you need help?"

he new he sould have taken off her uniform for her.. but he didnt wan tot push her... he didnt was to scare her...

"i cant get the apron off" she grumbled her eyes still closed. the frilly apron around her waist was now ajar and the lovely bow she always tied was a firm knot on her hip

Hiru sighed nervously as he steped forward and started on the knot as CoCo rounded the corner giving him a look before retiering to there room...

Hiru sighed finaly managing to ge the knot undone and pulling th apron off tossing it over his shoulder.

he then knelt and took her other shoo and stalking then turned her to unbutton her dress and pull it down leaving her in her under cloths...

he tried his best not to stair as he directed her back to bed as he placed her coths on a chair as not to wrinkle them.

" you need to go to bed kay Chi... " he said standing at the door waiting for her to finish laying down and trying to decide if he needed to tuck her in...

chi looked so vunerable like this... it pulled at his heart...

she tried to pull her sheets up but her comforter flopped on the floor and she groaned laying her head on the pillow ontop of her sheets "i give up" she half mumbled

Hiru chuckled and walked forward tucking her in with the sheet before pulling her blanket up and cover ing her up.

" gee... so silly for a girl. " he mumbled before leaning forward and kissing her lightly on the forhead, " good night Chi... sleep well we have strawberry's to pick tomorrow... "

he smiled nad walked to his own room, he feed both cats before retireing to bed... he wasnt sure when he would wake up tomorrow... but sleep was a must...

chi woke up stretching and looking around her room. she then looked down to see she was in just a bra and underwear and her face got a little red as she thought about her half concious state last night... she hadnt remember HER taking off her work clothes...and even if she did she knew she wouldnt have set them so licely over the chair. she got up and walked to her closet thinking 'did... did Hiru-kun...' she thought and touched her forehead 'it might have been a dream...' she thought pulling out a pair of black shorts and a love cut t-shirt that had a panda and a heart on it

she walked into the bathroom and brushed her teeth then combed her hair and put it up

she smiled and walked out of the bathroom looking at hiru's door and blinked he was still asleep. she walked into the kitchen and started making breakfast.

Sayuri was blushing brightly though she frowned in defiance. He'd asked her out on a date and yet she didn't even give him a real answer. It was more like he asked and instantly asumed. She walked into her apartment, rubbing her forehead to erase the heat that seemed to gather at the place where he kissed her. She got ready for bed, pausing at the paper that fell out of her coat when she went to hang it. She sighed but couldn't help a small smile as she picked it up. His number of course. "Well, I guess it couldn't hurt to go..." She shook her head already texting him to say no but erased the words and sufficed with,
Alright. Gnight Hiko-san.
She yawned placing her phone on her desk before crawling into her bed and falling asleep.

A man stumbeled out with two of his friends obviously drunk after being thrown out of the bar. He laughed loudly then noticed Marii walking and caught her by the wrist. "Hey, you're pretty enough. Wanna go have some fun with me?" He said but his words were so slurred they came out as useless garbble.

"Ryo-kun thanks for tonight." Miu laughed her eyes narrowed in satisfaction as she smiled up at him. Ryo smiled back though it was hard since she kept calling him Ryo-kun. A date and already she was using that useless title.
"My pleasure Miu-chan." Her smile began to falter when he turned to leave her at her door and she caught his cheek kissing him for a long moment. He blinked but let her kiss him before pulling away.
"I'll talk to papa about what he charges for rent and see if I can get this friend of yours a deal, ne?" She said and he nodded smiling brightly.
"Thanks..." He waited till she got inside before sighing and frowning slightly. He couldn't stand Miu at work let alone out with her after hours. He just didn't have that kind of patience with girls especially ones that talked a thousand miles a minute. He walked towards his apartment yawning slightly at the hour. He about turned the corner when he saw Marii-chan on the other side of the street. He paused in confusion. What time was it? And she was out here, headed towards that apartment of hers alone? And who was she talking to?
She'd probably think he was a stalker for this but he crossed the street over to her.
"Marii-chan there you are!" He said placing an arm around her shoulder and pried the other mans hand off of her. "Thank you for finding her but I'll take it from here." He said with a bright smile though his words had an obvious threat. He pulled her ahead some before letting go of her shoulder and sighed. "When I said I hope to see you around I didn't mean out at this time of night by yourself." He said frowning slightly. Did this girl ever think about self preservation at all?

Marii froze in fear as the man grabed her.

she gasped in fear as as she looked at the drunk man as images of her step father ran through her mind.

she wimperd before Ryo placed his arm around her shoulder causing her to jump slightly.

as he pulled her forward Marii felt good with his warmth next to her till he pulled away.

" ah... sorry.. i was doing the invoices at work... and well i just lost track of time... but i have tomorrow off... so... "

seh looked down in shame at how bad her excuse seemed..." i know... i should nt be out alown at night... but i figured that... i couldnt... i mean i live in the worse part of town... not like i would wander into an alie with a bigger leek then my apartment complex... "

she shruged feeling weched her body shaking in feer still. " thank good sumaritain Ryo... waht would i do with out you... your like my own hero... " she said as seh staired otu into the dark ness obviously still jumpy..

Hiru roled over goaning as he opened his eye's seeing CoCo sitting on his chest expectantly.

" get off of me love... " he mumbled before sitting up managing to get a bad look from CoCo as seh excaped to the kitchen rubbing against Chi's legs as Hiru stumbled into the kitchen.

" morning Chi... whats for breakfast?"

"chocolatechip waffles!" she explaimed excitedly "arent you so excited to pick strawberries today! i know i am!" she said giggling a little as she picked coco up and cuddled against her for a moment giving her a piece of fruit and setting her back down handing Hiru a fresh plate of waffles. she smiled and sat down next to him with her hot tea and sipped looking out the open kitchen door into the zen garden.

hiko woke up with a yawn and looked around his bedroom. his house was filled with toys... having the feel of a 'mr. magoriums' toy shop to it. he looked over at the large teddy bear next to him and patted his head before getting up and getting ready to go pick up sayuri for their 'date'

Ryo's frown softened and he felt his impatience with her draining. It was hard to frown when he was around her. "Hero is a bit much." He sighed taking her hand in his firmly when he noticed how freaked out she was. "I just don't want to see you get hurt is all." He shrugged and gave her a slight smile. "Come on let's get you back home before it gets too late." As they walked he began to think how her hand felt so strange in his. That it was so small and warm, unlike the other customers who felt cold.

Sayuri blinked rubbing her tired eyes with the back of her hand. She gave a stretch before picking up her phone and looking at the time. She squinted at the clock through blurry eyes and nearly fell over when she realized the time. "Shit!" SHe scrambled to her feet working quickly to at least get dressed and somewhat ready. She wouldn't admit she was glad to get out of her apartment the day she had work off but that still meant she'd be pending it with Hiko. She looked at the mirror in her bathroom as she messed with her hair finally settling for setting a thin black head band ontop. She still didn't know what to do about Hiko...I mean sure he was cute and the she had to admit she really loved the attention. But she also knew very little about him and the fact he made a living off of messing with girls emotions didn't help her decission either. "Fine I'll take this chance to at least get to know him...it's the least I can do..."
